could consider the walmart s24 plus deal, that seems is still available, if a) you are willing to spend some more time on unlock + close account; b) could be cheaper if you have the ATT cashback from Chase/Citi/US bank.

you can go as low as getting $300 for a S5. if you can find cheap phones like old Galaxy S5-S9 or a A03s under $50 I think it's decent
