Your eyes should land roughly in the center of the display.

There's no case where this stand makes sense unless you're preferring form (how it looks in the room with your other stuff) over function.

I don't understand this "TV too high" mentality. Y'all must not enjoy that "nap time" lever on your La-Z-Boy or something. My tv could be mounted on my vaulted ceiling as far as I'm concerned.
