This monitor was one of the few monitors I wanted ever since it came out, so I decided to just pull the trigger. I think the price is super good.

After doing some research for about 10 minutes, I've realized Newegg also sells it on eBay, for $5 more. This gives us three choices: Walmart, Newegg and eBay(Newegg). I also looked into extended warranty price. Walmart offered a cheapest warranty (by Allstate, 4 years = $43.00), so I ended up purchasing on Walmart website.

Paying 14% more for an item that already has a 3 year warranty seems a bit silly. Plus I've owned several monitors over the years and can't recall a single instance of one ever breaking or needing repair or service.
