Great book. Scalzi writes some awesome sci-fi that starts with reality and adds just a few minor discrepancies to our world to make it deliciously twisted. This book is no different. It starts with a very simple premise - that I won't spoil - and elaborates into an entire story told from a multitude of perspectives.

I'll add that while the book is great, I highly recommend the audiobook which is narrated by Wil Wheaton, who captures Scalzi's voice and humor perfectly.

I love Scalzi, but thought this book was one of his worst. Insane plot that doesn't deliver any answers, and is paper thin. Forgettable characters. Disappointed.
