It's only gold in color, but with the discount, this is a steal even if it's not for regular use.

I bought the Cuisinart 3-cup a few months ago when it was listed here, and someone specifically mentioned it was the perfect size for hummus made with one can of chickpeas. I've been making hummus regularly, but that little guy isn't built for batches.

If you haven't made hummus, it's one of the easiest recipes to make. This one should be able to make 3 or 4 batches, and each can produces about one lb of hummus.

I posted this a couple of weeks ago when it was $150. One of the replies said that the got it and it was actually silver.
