Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Feasible

It does not have the hardware encoding support for common formats like H.264 and H.265, meaning it cannot use its GPU for streaming or video editing tasks.

If you buy this, you're senile. Not just a bad card, it's a a bad price FOR a bad card.

Might be worth it as a secondary card to offload compute for Lossless Scaling frame generation. I think it's still $7 on Steam.

This is the price it should have been from the start. I've had one for years, it's been fine.

They had an ITX version for $70, a few days ago.

That 4gb of vram will hit its limit with medium-low textures at 1080p in a lot of heavy games. It's better than nothing though. If it had 8gb of vram it would be a great card. But this would be good for Esports or older games.

Not sure why you got thumbs down, I just looked it up in disbelief of your comment and you are right, this thing performs WORSE than a RX480 8gb, a card that released in summer 2016! 🤯 This thing has a smaller memory bus, less vRam than the 8gb, and cannot do the encoding that the 2016 RX 480 can. If you are gaming you are better off getting one of those or various other cards for this price or less on the used market. Kind of crazy.

Especially bad, because it needs a power cable... Oh, and only 4gb of VRAM.

You're better off finding a Vega 56 for $75 or a Vega 64 for $100.

You're probably better off using the igpu on a recent Ryzen card than this lol

This card was highly disappointing when it was released and it certainly has not gotten any better. If you want to game, I would spend a few extra dollars and find a used Radeon RX 6600 or Nvidia RTX 2060 Super. Heck, even a GTX 1660 super with 6 GB would be a much better GPU. You can find those used for around $100 all day.
