User Submitted Deal Sites

LatestHotelsDeals.com [LatestHotelsDeals.com] This site searches and compares Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Holiday Inn, Priceline, lastminute.com, Marriot and more so you can always get the best price.
www.kayak.com
www.yapta.com Yapta is still BETA... it cannot store information on most airlines. But it will search for your BOUGHT tickets as well, and get you a refund if the price goes down. This is the only site that will do that.

www.itravel2000.com Great booking bonuses (i.e. free giftcards, etc...)

www.farecompare.com

www.travel-ascending.com/ Travel-Ascending Discount Travel
www.cheapoair.com [cheapoair.com]
http://www.cheapflights.com/
http://www.bookingbuddy.com/
http://www.igougo.com/ [igougo.com] Opens up new airline sites in popups (for thorough searches)

http://www.usairwaysvacations.com/ has good vacation package rates that don't show up on the travel searches

http://www.allinclusiveoutlet.com/- have not seen any prices better than this site

www.tripalertz.com [tripalertz.com] this site has great deals they are somewhat new but have gotten a lot of press check it out
you do have to sign up first, but they will not spam you.

http://www.missiontravel.org/- If you are ever going on a humanitarian or mission trip (working with some kind of a non-profit), don't book your airfare until you've checked missiontravel.org first. With contracts from airlines for (oftentimes significantly) lower fares if it qualifies as a humanitarian flight. They can also book air originating from any country, not just the USA.

Found this little site and booked a cheap flight.

www.tripatravel.com

It was cheaper than Priceline and Kayak and most others I checked. Haven't tried the hotel or car rental but I will once I have a chance.

I keep looking for something better than Momondo.com because I hate having to spend so much time switching dates to find trips that are under 24 hr each way to Bali for a decent price, but so far, it's still the cheapest and the interface is nicer than most. Your link was only a few bucks more for my current favorite trip, but I'll keep looking.

For rental car rates have any of you known that there are different prices depending on what country you are from?

While looking for a deal to reserve on AK Air car reservation site it has defaulted to Ireland as one's home country. After changing to US $ it has a rate of $57. When prompted for name and email a pop up explains that the country location is going to be adjusted and rates may change.

Sure enough, the exact same vehicle total w/tax $57 USD when they thought I was in Ireland (No offense to people there!) changed to w/tax $116 USD

Never noticed, have never heard of different prices if one is from a different country before, it's new to me, what's up with that!?

I'm planning a trip to EU this summer. Any idea how I can score decent and affordable hotel? Yes "decent" and "affordable" aren't normally getting along but one can hope. I have been looking at booking.com, cheaptickets, and Airbnb but they are quite expensive unless I stay a bit further out of the area

check hostels, I've used them when I was on a string budget as a student who loved to travel.

I hear you can get great travel deals thru Boeing on their 737 Max planes... if you are prepared to pilot them yourself. This may sound daunting to the average SDer but apparently they're pretty easy to handle because the auto-pilot is awesome.
