Garmin has had this price for months with their promo. During Prime day, the refurbished unit was $385 with 11 month warranty. Since this model is discontinued, I see it dropping further during Black Friday.
Its a good looking watch!

No, they had a different size and color available on prime day for that price refurbished. The 51mm was not discounted that significantly or I would have bought it. And the 51 mm version has a longer battery life.

My first gen Venu still gets updates. They're not going to add new features, but it will receive bug fixes and other things. Personally, that's entirely fine by me, as I only need the features that already has, and you can always add apps for other things.

I have this watch and it gets updates, but only the instincts and Fenix 8 run the flagship Garmin OS that they are putting all their energy behind

That's not completely true.
I pulled the trigger on Fenix E earlier over this one because of the newer software.
Very happy with the E. This Epic maybe rocking older software, the hardware is better than E, with updated, GPS, heart rate sensor and flashlight among others
Despite on clearance, this is so much better than any Android Wear or Apple watches.

You are correct on color. Size was 47mm as well. I do not see 51mm on sale on Amazon right now. I def agree the 51mm has best battery life, if you can wear it.

the 51 mm was on sale in July for $600. My guess is it will go lower for BF.

Yep, just giving anyone who wouldn't know a fair warning.
