Serious question... The Amazon brand ones would be a total of $5.85 for 6 cans with subscribe and save and the 10% off... Are the Cento ones really worth the extra $10?

I like that these don't have too much sodium.

Does Amazon sell their own brand San Marzano tomatoes?

These are San Marzano tomatoes, I doubt that the Amazon brand are. San Marzano labeled tomatoes are a specific variety that are certified by Italian and EU regulations to have been grown in special Italian volcanic soil - the champagne of tomatoes. I've done side by side comps with scratch marinara and braised beef ragu, I think these Cento San Marzanos are worth the money for a splurge dish, my 2ยข

These look to be $1.96 per can at Walmart.

I use these to make The Bear spaghetti like in the tv show. Search online for the recipe. Super tasty and not too hard to make, though a dutch oven is recommended.

The exact same can is 2.38 at my Walmart right now. These are 2.66. Regardless, either is a very good deal.

wow, that price has really dropped and I wonder if it's a mistake. they're like $4.50 at my local walmart

and as for quality, these are great tomatoes. I've tried some San marzano style ones and they're trash. there are other dop ones available but usually a significant amount more than these
