Amazon sold us out! When I bought my echo show 5's and 8's, it didn't have Sponsered ADS. Sponsered ads you can NOT remove.
Maybe get it if you like a BILLBOARD on your night stand or kitchen, or desk. Do you?
I sure hope a Class ACTION lawsuit happens. Hijacking my echo show devices is disgusting! Jeff Bazos stepped down a few years ago, and the greedy management is trashing the reputation Jeff had built up.
It is like buying a new car, and car company decides to show ads when you start the car, and listen to ads, and you can't shut it off. And car company says "we own your car ...and can do anything we want".
p.s. Sorry for the Rant! I used to LOVE my echo show devices and Amazon management turned the device into TRASH for me. If they want to add features like FORCED ADS, they should do it to new devices, and let people know "there are FORCED Sponsered ADS on these devices you can not disable!"
I would never buy something like is product with FORCED ADS.
