One HUGE warning from someone who owns an automatic cat feeder and has owned many, one VERY big downfall of this one: if/when the company goes under, the automatic portion of this is done. I had a similar feeder previously that had an app and all the nice app features, but they went under in 2022 and then the $200 feeder became a brick. Since then, I got one that's just on a timer, no internet component. This way, it's completely independent of their ecosystem and reliance. I can set anywhere from 2-6 feedings a day and can control portion size of each. Granted mine is for dry food, but the warning remains the same.

I have owned one since it came out. I can't recommend it enough for going out of town for a long weekend. Our little guy has no issues using it.

Awesome deal, I've been thinking of getting one of these for a while! Wet food is so much better for your cat.

These things are great when it works. Bought 3 for 3 cats during a weekend trip right off the bat.

But the cooling system is weak and keeps at 50F which is barely passable. So I stuck to one feeding per and now it doesn't even stay cool for an hour!

Tried adding ice cubes. Even at a more frozen state.

Did you have the plastic or stainless steel bowl?

If it only keeps the food at 50 is that safe to leave wet food in for 3 days if you feed once a day?

Stainless just recently came out. I've had these for over a year and they don't even get below 60F now. Been through 3 replacements off 3 units. I just gave up storing multiple slots of wet food at this point.

I guess they came out with stainless steel bowls because they keep things cooler than plastic.

Just get stuffed animals, it's whole lot cheaper and low maintenance compared to live pets.

As a person who has lived with my wife's cats for 15 years or so I don't see how this thing doesn't get super gross.
