any recommendations on this one? Good deal? I was eyeing the dell equivalent but I am concerned about RAM and had bad experience with Dell overall in the past.

I also tried to have Dell Price Match this one so to have access to AMEX offer but they refused.

Can you post the DELL equivalent? I have an XPS I bought from Costco. Only 8GiG RAM AMD Raedon RX 480 , Intel i7 -7700 for the last 10 years. DELL XPS was from Costco. I would highly recommend XPS. Never had an issue once. I was thinking similar build like this with Ryzen 9900 or 9700. After reading and comparing. Ryzen better bang for buck and better for gaming. Intel I never had issues and always seems more stabilized when doing other than tasks than gaming. Trying to future proof for the next 10 years without any upgrades. Games these days seems like it requires more than a 8G RAM video card. I could be wrong

Exactly , I am trying to future proff as much as possible but have no experience with MSI and clearly we have a 400 usd difference here. Dell - I'm somehow lukewarm towards it I had the same configuration you just mentioned and it always work - but plenty of glitches. Wouldn't wanna put 2k there.

Futureproofing when buying a $2500 computer lol. Futureproofing is for buying mid or low spec stuff that is the most current generation so you have an upgrade path for years to come; spending $500 here or there to make the computer better over time and keep the upgrade cycle going. Buying this tier of computer is going to be able to sit for probably over 5 years and still play everything on high at 1440p/4k no issues.

what do you think of this as alternative? I put it on order yesterday for 1999 (now price is higher) but I can still pull the trigger on the MSI: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/c...J3L7GQWGXV

MSI is good to go. They have been my primary parts manufacturer in all my builds. I bought one of their pre builts years ago and to my surprise, they use a lot of in house parts and will happily provide a parts list if you contact them.

Bought this one when it came with Arc Raider Delux (last week). There are still some games you can choose from. Anyway... unless you are interested in building your own (no thanks for me) this is a decent price. MSI build quality, Costco Return Policy (i added the $100 extended warranty), Intel chipset, 64GB RAM, 5080 GPU, Liquid Cooling.... it makes sense.
Originally i got this model with the 5070ti, air cooled and 32GB of RAM for $550 less and ended up returning it for this one...

Thats what i thought too, but after talking to some people and looking at benchmarks its mixed. At lease for the higher end comparison (ryzen 9 9900x vs intel core ultra 9 285k). EIther way, the AMD is a better price.

Any thoughts on this one? https://www.bestbuy.com/product/c...J3L7GQWGXV ?

I was able to secure it for 1900 (500 less then asking price). Should I stick with this one or switch to the MSI? Have not picked it up yet.

I think it is a good deal. This powerful PC probably last 5-7 years. In addition, you get Office 365 subsc and 1 game. Same specs cost $3219 at Neweggs. https://www.newegg.com/p/3D5-000G...47c6d56d2c

Where do you see (or how do you know) that this PC comes with Office 365?
