It's 1000W nominal, 1500W peak. Not that the peak rating has much meaning...

I purchased an ebike last week, today it was 'delivered' per some random tracking number they gave me.

I did not receive it, the proof of delivery showed an envelope on a doorstep.

AE told me to contact the courier and get proof the item was not delivered.

Now waiting on PayPal refund.

It sucks man.. I got an empty box of wrenches.. same deal.. at least mine was only $35.. let us know how it plays out.. looks like a nice bike though... But that's a lot of money to throw away

Yeah, US shipper on AE doesn't guarantee that it's not a scam. Had an AE seller try to scam me out of a $150 item earlier this year. Got him to say in a chat that he was going to refund me, then, when he didn't, forwarded the chat transcript to AE support and they did it. But be aware that in general AE support doesn't speak English, and they use Google Translate or something similar for their messages.

Did you purchase an eBike from a deal posted here on slickdeals? My anti-scam tactic for AE is: 1. if price is too good to be true, its 90% not real; 2. Check seller rating, pay attention to most recent sales. If seller is new, or have lots of rating but were long time ago- dont risk it.I have paypal protection, credit card purchase protection, sometimes CC return protection ,etc... However, when you really need to take your time, effort, then at some points getting exhausted going through all the hops/step of making claim and waiting others to decide your refund, you definitely want yourself being extra cautious and do quadruple check on seller and item listing next time.

Its either heavy useless fat tire or tiny small tires and folding....Where are the normal sized step-thrus, MTB bikes, City Commuters???
Does this simply show what is being discounted on what people don't want, and they are trying to purge them?
