Winco has Herbal Essence shampoo/conditioner for $1.98. Buy 4 for $7.92 - BOGO Q - $1/2 Q = 4/$2.96 or .74 cents each. YMMV to get 2 large size conditioners and 2 regular size shampoo for the same price.

Heard from my favorite cashier that there will be doubles this coming weekend. Free La Victoria tortillas with the 0.75/1 from the 8/19 SS!

Hope everybody with a "closing" Albies got an opportunity to shop at 75% off today. The shelves at my closest "going out of business" store were getting quite bare by evening tonight but it might be still worth a stop-in tomorrow.

Meow. Wink

I am not a cat lover. My sister is deathly allergic to cats. When we were growing up we wore each other's clothes and if I ever even touched a cat, she would be ill for days. I learned to stay away from them and, just from habit, mostly still do.

As I said, I am not really a cat lover. (Now CATS are another thing altogether!)

Yesterday I used 126 coupons at Albies at the Juanita store closing. The store director was my cashier and he was so busy that he didn't bother to put my coupons away but left them out while he rang up the next customer's order. This morning when I returned to do some more shopping, the store director told me that the customer behind me stole all 126 of the coupons I had used in the transaction the day before. Frown I felt so bad.

If anyone is still shopping at the closing Albertsons stores, remember that there is a $2 CAT printing when you buy 21 Kool-aids. With the 75% discount at the "going out of business" stores, Koolaid is $.05 so spend $1.05 to get $2.00.

Today at the Juanita store it was much quieter and there were no lines at the SCO so I bought lots and lots of Koolaid in combination with just one or two items per transaction to eat the overage and to make what I wanted to buy nearly free. It took forever but it was mostly fun...somehow the whole experience was reminiscent of the old days of unlimited doublers.

There's still more Kool-aid at the Juanita store than you could ever dream of owning...

The store director of the Juanita store will be transferring to the 196th Lynnwood store since Clint has resigned. I cannot imagine a more coupon friendly store director...YAY!

I have agoraphobia and I don't have a reliable car so I wasn't able to go during the day yesterday (I have to have a 'safe person' with me like my husband, sister or mom and they all work during the day). Started to go yesterday evening but decided to call (since it's a 20 minute drive) and they were closing in 5 minutes when I called. Then I called after dinner this evening and asked if it would be worth the drive and they said "unless you want only BBQ sauce and mayonnaise it's probably not worth it" LOL

Pretty bummed I didn't make it in, but if there really are double coupons this weekend (still haven't heard for certain) I can save more than 75% that way Wink

Lemon Kool-aid is good in the dishwasher as a supplement, it gets things nice and sparkly and it smells great too!

If you have RRs or CATS you plan to burn at FM, go as soon as possible. Coupon project announced a policy change in that FM will no longer be accepting OYNO catalina or register reward coupons from other stores. Frown

Does anyone know the price of Angel Soft 4-packs at Albies? Is it worth saving the 25c IP's for that, or am I better off redeeming them at Safeway (where for another week or so it's priced $10/10, so $1 - 25c = 75c)?

Is it policy for Albertsons to apply a TVQ on an ONYO that says Manufacturer Coupon? The guy did it today after he told me no because it says do not double. So I told him you don't double, you give twice value, as I've seen here before. Just not sure what official policy is on this.

The FB Albies CS does not have their act together. What's your take on this response? Sheryl (whoever she is) and I asked about the exact same scenario at the exact same store. We evidently were both denied face value doubling of the Hormel Compleats $1/1 q when doing the Hormel promo at Albies.

Compleats are $2.49 and when you buy five, you get $5 off instantly. So, buy five, use five $1/1 qs and three doublers = $4.45 but get $5 off instantly so $.65 overage to be applied to the basket purchase.

I think I was told by Steve that my $1/1 coupons could be doubled to $2 but Sheryl was told by Kimberly that she could not double her $1/1 coupons to anything more than $1.49. But we were asking the same question about the same promo and at the same store.

Their policy is to double it as long as you have as many items in your cart as coupons that you are using. Their official policy (via FB) now says that the item you apply the doubled OYNO to must be greater in value than the OYNO doubled. YMMV. All my stores allow customers to buy a tiny piece of produce so there will be a matching number of qs to items in the basket... and then allow the application of the OYNO to the basket purchase.

Thanks, forgot about seeing this mentioned too. I'm sure at my store it will be cashier dependent but I got it today anyway!
