Has anyone with the $5 of $50 from Albertson's used it? I noticed it doesn't say anything about if it's before coupons or after coupons or store or card savings. Does that mean it's safe to assume the $5 will be taken off if your total is $50 before everything? I really don't want to spend $50 there to get a lame $5 off, but it may be worth it if I will get the $5 off if my before coupon total is $50

Amber posted a scenario on her site that gave a subtotal before coupons so I decided it probably worked but I would like the answer to that, too. I used mine yesterday but messed up by using qs that gave overage that applied toward the basket purchase. That overage in actuality was applied like store coupons which unknowingly dipped my subtotal below $50 so the $5 I thought was deducted from my total was added back on. CS made it right for me manually when I added more items onto my subtotal. I'm going to try it again today.

Just a reminder - if you are trying this deal and still have those free coupons for Duncan Hines flavoring packets, you can use them to bring your subtotal lower.

Meow. Wink

I am not a cat lover. My sister is deathly allergic to cats. When we were growing up we wore each other's clothes and if I ever even touched a cat, she would be ill for days. I learned to stay away from them and, just from habit, mostly still do.

As I said, I am not really a cat lover. (Now CATS are another thing altogether!)

I found yellow peelies on boxes of DH cake mix for free flavor packet, no purchase necessary, if you need more coupons (at Safeway)

Just an update on the $5/50 coupon from Albies that ended yesterday. As soon as the first mfg coupon was scanned that brought my subtotal under $50, the computer re-added on the $5 coupon that had originally subtracted from my total. The manager at 196th studied the coupon for a long time and told me that she didn't think it was supposed to work that way so she told the cashier to manually subtract $5 at the end of the transaction.

Although I was happy with the manager's response, it didn't bide well for me that the promo worked only if coupons weren't applied. It also bothered me that the manager and cashier had not even noticed the issue and it was the very last day of the promotion.

Free $5 loaded to your QFC or FM card (or mailed to you) if you enter the Pillsbury Bake-Off contest. $5 offer shows up after you enter your recipe:

I really don't know how regional or store-specific clearance items at Fred Meyer are. Next time you're there, consider looking for the following items I found in the regular aisles at 50% off:

I am pretty sure that all the 50% off stuff found in the regular aisles is part of this week's ad. Some of the items are listed on the inside flap of the Sunday ad. I went last night and picked up the finish quantum tab/gelpack thingies using the $1.25/1 from last Sunday's SS to make them around $.05 per load....super slick price! Smilie

ok, finally i posted the full deal summary for next week at albies, on my blog. Its stupid long ad this next week. as mentioned, a B$20G$5 promo, a buy $100 GC(MC IS included) Get $10 OYNP-but no variable cards...so well see how that deal pans out...and a few random other items that are good deals. other than whats mentioned, not an overall great week.

I guess the things coming down the pike are just crazy. I guess stores will be going back to the towering towers of products, where each store HAS too order a butt load of palets of stuff. Which means selected items great deals. for the next 4 months, we should be getting some good stock up deals on a few things.
