I have a friend with total that did the "free" iPhone 13 with 3 months, he's paid until January.

So he could add this tablet and pay the $45 ($35 for tablet and $10 for the monthly service) and just pay that month and gets to keep it with no other payments?

Thanks for any help

trying to add it for him but I doubt it will work since his promotion is:

Total 5G Unlimited 3-Month

I have a 5G plan from their switch from T-Mobile $15 deal and was able to get this deal to work. I'm guessing I can cancel the tablet line after 1 month?

I did the Straight Talk deal for the same tablet, it came unlocked but with Verizon bloatware. The only carrier TCL lists is Verizon, so I'd bet money that the prepaid carriers are just repurposing devices.

as another has noted, this doesn't seem to work for everyone. I have two lines with them, both are on the 40 unlimited plan and I see the deal but when I try to checkout I get full price for the tablet minus the plan $40 discount
