Costco has the X40 Ultra with about $100 worth of extras for $499! The price of the X40 Ultra alone on Amazon. Dreame confirmed the 508 is the X40 Ultra. The model number is the same with a -1 at the end.

I would stick with roborock from Costco, the QX Revo is on sale for cheap. Other brands aren't as good
Dreame and Mova are definitely better options at this price then Roborock. They offer better vaccums at a more reasonable price. Plus these Roborocks at Costco except the $800 mode are even older with outdated features.

Dreame could be better on paper in some areas vs Roborock, but in reality they don't work as well overall as Roborock.

Just want to chime in that this is a great deal. I have been eyeing the GoVac 508 on Costco's website for the past month and it did not drop from the $799.99 price until now. I know some might differ on whether this particular model is best for the price, but you also have to account for Costco's customer service as part of the deal. Great find!
Thanks OP I'm in for it. I've been hesitant to buy a robot vacuum due to some horrid reviews but at least with Costco I don't have to worry about issues. How sad is it though the first thing I've bought on black Friday in years turns out to be a vacuum.....
This appears to be the best robot vacuum when I had AI compare it to other Costco models not more than $800 or so.
Mova P10 Pro Ultra (Mova is made by Dreame) is seen as the best bang for the buck by most, right now.
One thing the Mova, this X40 Ultra, and the cheaper L40 Ultra all have in common is that they can be hacked and the alternative operating system Valetudo can be installed on them. I personally wouldn't spend money on any robot vacuum that is cloud dependent unless it could be hacked because losing the cloud means the vacuum is a paperweight.
