I'm noticing that many of these subscriptions are cheaper when you order directly from the publisher, as long as you find their Black Friday deal.

Never had a problem with discountmags.com, you just have to remember to cancel before they auto-renew for "regular price". I've used them for years without any problems.

Haven't used them in a couple years but the subscriptions worked. I'll say they will auto-renew your subs way in advance at the full rate so keep an eye out for the single email they'll send letting you cancel the full-price renewal.

PC Gamer and Retro Gamer are in the sale in digital format. Print version of Retro Gamer is typically crazy expensive

Discountmags USED to be great. Their price locked had me subscribed to probably 25-30 magazines at any given time.
Since they got rid of that - I probably subscribe to one a year .... IF I get a great price.
With that said they fulfill what they sell you, but they're a mere shell of what they used to be.
