Not calling it Black Friday because those days are long gone. What did folks buy on Slick?

Grammarly subscription

Waiting for good Gift Cards deals, but nothing so far...

I bought 87 gas at my Sheetz for $2.19, after a $0.28 discount for joining their app.

Even $2.47 without the app discount was a great deal.

Sonos FIVE two of them are crazy at $439 each.

An open box laptop at BestBuy in the confusion and their own disorientation they never noticed the price tag was switched from $2499 to $139 (I didn't do it)

Not too much. Deals were thin this year. I converted one of my grandfathered old extended prime accounts (that Amazon recently took the free prime shipping away on) to Amazon Business, and used the "35% off up to $100 in discounts" on a bunch of "Black Friday" (25% off) fancy cat food, stacking with 10% S&S and an additional 35% off to get it for something significantly less than half price. Not exciting, but I really did save a good amount on it (kittens eat a LOT). That was the only legit "deal" I saw this year.

I did manage to get a few things I needed to buy anyway on sale. PetSmart had a pre Black Friday sale and I got a bag of dog food for my pooch 20% and then I got his fish oil almost 40% from Chewy. We've been wanting to get an under the sink water purifier and Amazon had a sale on iSpring, plus 10% cash back if we used our Amazon credit card. Nothing like the good old days though.

On my way back from Harbor Freight, I saw a lot of people walking the streets at the mall.
Must just be browsing or general shopping.

I picked up a 3-ton floor jack ($99), tarp ($2.75), and a dolly ($12) at Harbor Freight.

I played the Cards Against Humanity 99% lotto and won a card game and Tiny lab grown diamond for $.50. Bought a carry on luggage set for my 17 year old. That's literally all I purchased yesterday!! First time in many years I didn't buy much on BF.

I did take advantage of the sales leading up to BF. Finished 2/3 kids lists. Bought several Switch/PS5 games and PS Portal for my oldest. AliExpress 11/11 sale Bought retro handhelds for my girls, and an RP5 for me. Bought SD cards from Amazon. Bought an SSD for the PS5. Random toys for youngest cheaper than what they were yesterday.

Was really hoping for a Verizon upgrade deals. MIL is on my plan and her plus 3 of us are long overdue for upgrades. Holding out hope for a Cyber Monday or December Christmas deal to take advantage. Years past we would upgrade at Sam's or WM and get gift cards.

couple little things, but basically nothing. Black Friday was a total non factor this year. Judging by the utter lack of crowds at Walmart when I ran out at lunch time for a couple groceries, i wasn't the only one. Intend to laugh at the pathetic sheep when they announce it was the biggest one ever in a few days...
