Is this refurbished or used? Big difference with VR headsets. A refurb should have a new face pad.

It's certified factory refurbished by Meta. I ordered Monday and had it in hand Wednesday, and it was clearly never used. If the seals on the sides didn't have the refurbished print on them, I wouldn't have been able to tell. Plus you get Allstate 2 year warranty, which is nice.

Can you use these to just work on your computer?
I know that's not typical but I have a hard time seeing my computer even though I keep getting my glasses changed.

You can using a few different software options both wireless and wired, but there's a good chance it would fatigue your eyes more than just a normal monitor. I can stare at my monitors for 8 hours a day without too much eye strain, but over 2 hours of VR on my quest 3 is enough to make me bleary eyed. You would also need to upgrade the headband for any real extended wear.

Same experience here. Couldn't tell the difference from NEW.
