Yeah, great deal here. A YouTuber by the name of ETA Prime did a full review on this machine just last week and it was pretty impressive for the price (then 630) and now it's even less. The thermals were really good at this price point. If you need some portability than I think this is a no brainer
I'm comparing this one to the Lenovo LOQ at BestBuy for $649. This is for my teenage kids who play some Steam games, Roblox and Sims 4. I don't think they are playing anything that demanding on Steam. I think both laptops would be sufficient for that. From what I've read the Lenovo has a better CPU, better build quality, and a better screen from a sRGB perspective. However, the Acer is $70 cheaper, is lighter, and the screen has higher refresh rate 165Hz. Any thoughts on which one I should go with?

This is the cheapest gaming laptop with a RTX 5050. Only con is ram is DDR4. Compared to RTX 4050 AAA games will run smoother.
I agree with this. I bought the LOQ with 4050 for $530 over the weekend and wish I saw this over the weekend as I would have bought this instead and paid $50 more even though I have DDR5 this DDR4 with 5050 would of better for my needs

If it's for kids then they probably won't notice a difference. I personally had the Acer on the previous deal and returned it and spent the extra $20 on the Lenovo LOQ. For me, it was worth the better keyboard layout, better trackpad and trackpad placement, better general feeling keyboard and better overall built quality. I'd still do the same thing at the $70 price difference for myself. Most kids wouldn't notice those things and will be more than pleased to have this for Fortnite and other low hardware intensity games.
