TCL makes dependable TVs and the speakers are better than other brands.
How does this 240 Motion Rate from 60Hz perform though? Is it just like 240Hz?

i believe this is 60 Hz but they have a '240 Accelerator' which sounds like a little marketing BS.

If you have Costco, they have a better model for a little bit more ($279)

Curious to askā€¦ how?

By all means not trying to be an 'elitist' per se. I cannot use anything but a higher end OLED. Even a $1000 backlight LCD bothers my eyes. Plus being able to game at 4k120hz is important to me. Totally depends on your use case.

Nice, same here the TCL 55" Roku from BF a few years ago. The mainboard took a dump and the TV went to a boot loop a few years back and I replaced it with a compatible mb from ebay to keep it going. I didn't connect the TV to the internet since then. I think a corrupt update or failed flash chip killed the original mainboard and rendered it brain dead. The panel still works great and now I use OTA and Onn 4k box with it for streaming content.

Not sure about tcl qled, but the 55 inch budget tv from like 7 years ago had input to display latency of less than 1 frame (15 ms) and been awesome to game on.
