depends. S90F is a QD-OLED so its newer and generally better. However if your room is dark then the C5 is fine. If you have more natural light then the S90F hands down.If you plan to game at all S90F as well.

Reviewers consistently talk about raised blacks with the QD-OLED in bright environments. I haven't noticed this myself.

It's not very noticeable and I think the color improvement is well worth the counter I would not get c5 because colors are more muted. G5 or qdoled only

I was going with the C5 but I saw them side by side on a Costco trip and immediately changed my mind and got the S90f. Just saying that a lot of reviews give the edge to the C5 for an issue I have a hard time telling exists. The color difference however is very real.

I'm not a Samsung fanboy I had lg e9500 lg cx and when I switched to s95b the change was very noticeable in hdr the colors are beautiful. That being said the g5 is very close and I ended up getting it because of the higher brightness on sdr and less abl which dims pic on super bright scenes on the other oleds. But I can't understand how anyone prefers the c5 to s90F
Ugh, should be $1,200 as it has been several times from reputable dealers on eBay.
The new S90h is brigher, 165hz and has antiglare. This will likely come out in May and start close to $2.5K (lel), if it follows the D version it will drop to $1,750 by early September.
Not sure if it's worth it to 6 months to pay $450 more for a marginally better TV. My current Sony 65" is 10 years old and I plan to keep this one a while, so might be worth it.

I'm curious if the more aggressive abl actually helps extend the quality of life of the panel. OLED panels are actually more reliable when it comes to complete failure but they do degrade in quality. I'm using mine in a dedicated home theater that doesn't get used every day so I'm not worried but others with heavier use it might be a consideration.

FYI, Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision, only HDR 10+.
This is why I went with the C5 - as an Xbox gamer and 4k disk watcher, this makes the difference. That was the biggest deal breaker, they are both excellent options.
