Have been looking at this for a while, and finally grabbed it from DTO for $40 over the weekend. Would have rather waited and got it new for $10 more. Have a couple bathrooms to do. Reviews seemed positive, once you get the hang of the speed.

I got the dewalt variant for $100 a few months ago. These things are awesome and sure the ryobi would work just as well. Made it uber easier applying a consistent bead all around my chicken coop. I dont have the steadiest hands so this this type of tool was great.

I may be on the other end with this tool. The lowest setting is still to fast for the vast majority of applications, even with a tiny hole cut in. The only really use over a hand powered one is when using mixing tubes (expoys). This things mostly collects dust in the corner.

Ay ay, you saved me $50. I was thinking of getting this before retirement to do may small DIYs, I hate caulking but for small jobs I was debating if this helps or not. I get it if you are doing like multi windows caulking. Even when I did the LVP floors, I just use the hand tool caulk and not have to worry if I got the right battery. I am currently split between Dewalt and Ryobi.

I've got the previous version of this Ryobi gun (P310G I think) and it's a godsend if you are caulking baseboards, tubs, sinks, etc. Even laying down consistent lines of adhesive.

It's one of those tools I didn't think I would use much, but got it because it was $20 at the time. Definitely glad I have it in my arsenal for DIY.

$50 is maybe a bit steep if you won't use it more than a time or two, but worth it if you're a handy guy or gal.

You probably have too big of a cut on the tube. I cut a small hole and it flows slowly, sometimes too slow.

If only these worked for the larger 28oz tubes. Seems easier to just use a drip-free manual for any of these. Pretty much the only time you'd want it is for dealing with thick stuff like PL 3x. That stuff sucks to push out if doing anything large like subfloor installation

The Milwaukee upgrade kit will fit these for the larger tubes

I had this tool for a couple of years already when back then this was part of free tool from DTO order.

I think it is quite helpful for me to do bathtub caulking, getting the job done very quickly without stress on my fingers.

There are a couple downsides:
1. As mentioned above, lowest setting still comes out quite fast. So I had to get used to running the tip of caulk tube across the edges quickly.

2. The tool is longer than the manual one so it is not useful in more confined space.

Once I got used to running the tool, the job is done very very quickly. And I would imagine this is a must if you want to do the baseboard caulking.

I got this with the last free tool with battery offer. Wanted one after getting really cramped in my hand caulking up a couple of bay windows. Really makes the job easier.
