I wish companies would quit making this junk. Aluminum ends will fuse to your spigot. Buy brass only.

Use a brass quick-disconnect. Problem solved.

Completely agree, I bought this same hose and it broke my spigot trying to take it off after just a month. Company acted like it was my fault.

I dont know how people fuse their fitting like that, I have this brand of hose and its been on my garden faucet for years (sitting attached for over a year at a time) and I can still unscrew it easy enough.

Assuming you already know about the issue with aluminum ends. Most consumers don't until it's too late and that's the problem. Why do that to people in the first place? So you can make a few more cents per hose? I'll gladly spend a bit more for a hose with brass ends to avoid this risk. It's not like they cost any more. What if you get hit by a bus and your spouse or kid puts the hose on and it fuses on because they didn't know or they forgot. If you don't buy the hose in the first place then you have nothing to worry about. I like a good deal as much as the next person but not with these consequences. Don't buy crappy products and they won't manufacture them.

A month? Either there is something wrong with your water or you didn't have a good seal (or your spigot was crap if you broke it just trying to get a month-old fitting off).

$1/foot for noodley hose that often develops mold/mildew, kinks rather easily, tends to get pinched and tears or rips and WITH aluminum ends!
In for several dozen!!! 🤫🤦 😵
