Just for reference on how inflation has affected knives, I bought the orange 3V variant from Midway for
$57.60 OTD almost exactly 2 years ago on 4.24.24

Midway has some crazy deals sometimes. I bought a Old Hickory knife set from them for $25 one time. It is over $100 on Amazon now. The catch was they only had a few sets available.

That was an unparalleled clearance price. Prices were way lower for Midway's special 3V SRK run than anywhere else at the time. 3V full-size knives usually started in the $150s. I know because I bought the 6-inch flat earth variant from Midway for
$96.74 OTD almost exactly two & a half years ago on 11.24.23
& I thought that was a screaming deal.

Pay close attention 5" blade not 6". it's very confusing because the title says one thing but the description says something else. The listing says it is a 6" blade, but this is the SRK COMPACT which has a 5"blade. BTW, MidWayUSA has the black 6" SRK CV5 on sale for thirty $.
