If you compare amount of Magnesium elemental, you'll see why NOW is better:

- Now: Magnesium elemental: 200 mg / 48% from 2 tablets = 100 mg Magnesium elemental (24%) per tablet (Elemental is the number that counts toward your daily requirement)

The one you linked/ per 1 capsule: Elemental Magnesium: 60mg (14.29%). Magnesium Glycinate (Compound): 400mg.

So, 100 mg per tablet (NOW) vs 60mg per tablet Double Wood (linked one)

Magnesium glycinate is my go to. Love this brand (buy their other products). I need a low dose due to kidney disease, this is great for me!

to be fair I think NOW is one of the most widely respected brands of supplements (for quality control, etc)... but 100mg is a low dose and you would need to take multiple.
