Rare 20% off a new Apple Product. I thought I wanted an Air, but Pro is lighter and thinner than the air model, and this comes with M5 chip (versus M4 in latest Air).

Bonus is no sales tax.

Of course, you have to be eligible to buy from ShopMyExchange/AAFES.

https://www.shopmyexchange.com/ap...ss/4829697

Cellular version is also $200 off (17% discount), but is also $200 more than the wifi version:

https://www.shopmyexchange.com/ap...ss/4829723

Every Ipad Pro with M5 chip is $200 off, so if you prefer more memory, those are available as well.

i got a new one today. I am replacing my kids M1 Pro. The screen upgrade alone is huge. My 13 M1 Pro now looks like ass by comparison. 🙄🤣

I also want to go from the 13" to the 11"The 13" is really meant to be used as a laptop replacement, and you sorta can if you're determined and/or have a specific workflow that works with iPad os. The 11" is drastically better for consuming content on the couch without the iPad landscape; imo. Even though it's like 1lbs vs 1.25lbs, the 13" just feels unwieldy in the hand.

For a second I thought it was $799 - 20%. I'd love a pro but definitely hard spending more than a MacBook Air for it. I think I'll wait to see if a better deal comes.

13 is ideal for me. I'm not walking around or using it anywhere but a desk or table. I had the older 13 with the home button and that thing was way too gd big. And the software didn't take advantage of the size. It just looked the same but blown up.

I'd personally take the 13". Have the 11" and made a mistake - should have bought the 13". Maybe we can swap? Smilie

I have recommended this to other deals in the past (and downvoted to hell for whatever reason) but if you plan on using an iPad as a CarPlay screen, aka using in the car using whatever easy mounting method you have and using GPS, I recommend the cellular version. WiFi version cannot use GPS accurately even by connecting to your phones hotspot. It'll lose tracking

I use my almost 100% in car basically as CarPlay. I'm bad with directions so I use maps 100% of the time. So if you just need a general idea of where to go then the WIFi model will still do maps but it will be delayed and skipped. The WiFi model will do the best it can to get your location. Where as the gps model will obviously be right on spot like your phone would be. FYI- you do NOT have to pay for cellular for your cellular iPad to gps but you will need to hotspot to your phone. I believe you can actually download Apple Maps to the device and may not need to hotspot your iPad. You just don't get updated traffic and crap

I made this mistake by having an iPad Pro 11" 3rd gen M1. Got the M4 13" cellular when it was $900. I planned to keep the 11 and the 3rd. Well now I'm searching every day to see if I can waste money to snag an 11" M4 smh lol

I had an 11 for like the last 10 years lol. Didn't think I wanted the big one. I kept my 11 pro m1 and grabbed the 13 M4. If I had to pick only one I think I'd have to keep the 13" now becuase of the multitasking and the larger screen. It's awesome now being able to do a few things at the same time on the larger screen.

I thought the same, have cycled through all the screen sizes, and my takeaway is that unless you're using it as a full laptop replacement or have a specific use case (design, drawing, etc), the 11" is the sweet spot, for some might be the mini. 13" with keyboard feels like carrying a second, less capable laptop.
