Repping the OP Needs to Be Easier for Front Page Deal

The way front page deals are formatted make it less likely for people to give reps to the OP. The original post is essentially hidden, and you have to expand the 'about original poster' and 'see original post' on mobile to even see an option to give reputation points to the person who is responsible for posting the deal in the first place. The last few deals I've posted that made the front page, I either got a couple of reps from posters or none at all. It seems like most of the reps go to the staff user whose name is more prominent on the Front Page listing. I decided to bring this up now after seeing that BostonFever only has like 68 rep points (including the four I just gave him) after posting a Samsung TV deal with 150 cumulative up votes. It took me three or four minutes to find his original post and figure out how to actually give him a rep. That's pretty ridiculous. Maybe it's just that I'm slow, but SD should definitely be putting more emphasis on repping the OPs instead of just tucking their posts away and requiring extra clicks to see them and give them rep points.

Honestly, I know that reps are essentially useless on this site (which probably needs to be changed somehow if this site wants more engagement from its loyal users), but it's still a nice thing to have as it indicates that other posters appreciate your contributions to the community.
