Can't speak to this collection, but the games are slower paced and requires thinking, as opposed to games nowadays where it's more about the "instant win" and a quick dopamine spike. For those who haven't played these games before, they are point-and-click type games where there's a story to follow and a problem to solve. One can interact with objects on the screens for funny sounds and animations, or if it's a key items, it would be collected to one's inventory. One moves from screen to screen by clicking left or right on the screen. It's simple to learn, but if your kids are younger, will likely need your help with the game. The characters are fully-voiced, so reading isn't a hard requirement. There's also various mini-games spread throughout each games, too, like a version of Battleship. But usually aren't required to win to progress the story.
As the games were made in the 90s, patience will be required.
