I applied and was approved for a payboo card and immediately I was able to use to to I purchase my MacBook Air M5 10 GPU core 32GB 1TB SSD. It saved me 10.4% sales tax. I already received my credit card. I think it is worth getting the card as long as you don't keep a balance on the card. Its APR is insanely high. But if you are discipline with your credits, it is a good deal to get the payboo card. Good luck!

Also worth mentioning that even if it was a like-for-like comparison, B&H may still be a better deal even if their competitor is "cheaper". If you have their credit card (or are able to apply for it), saving the sales tax could be a MASSIVE difference on an item this expensive.

For example, Micro Center had the 18 core variant on sale for $2380 recently, but if you live anywhere where sales tax is over 5%, B&H's price of $2499.99 is actually cheaper. Not to mention that it comes with free shipping.

Seems like a great deal. Can we expect it to go lower? New versions are expected to be announced soon

Most likely because the Macbook Ultra will be released possibly later this year or early next year with a new slimmer and lighter body style and OLED touch screen. They probably want to clear out inventory of the current higher end models. The Macbook Pros are still using the same chassis from 5 years ago. Any time there is a major design refresh of a product, the old one feels dated.

The lower of the two here is my ideal laptop. Wish I had a reason to get it, lol.
