This one has a 7.8Ah battery.
LP80 has a 10.5Ah battery.
I'm sure some cases are just bad luck or bad product, but I'm also certain many cases were due to user negligence. Like charging a damaged battery, wet battery, etc
The LP60 has a 5.2Ah battery.
