I hear these have an IP rating for dust, I'm using the older 1080p version and one of them is the black one, it's good for setting up in a window looking at the front porch like an out door camera. Just be sure you get a high performance memory card otherwise these things will eat memory cards like you won't believe.

Anyone know how these compare to higher priced models from Tapo or other companies? Buying first set of home security cameras and not sure if it's worth spending more

They are fine, I had 1 connected to my unifi protect setup, for the money these are great. Worth more than they sell them for, but I did go back to my way more expensive cameras because its what works for my setup
