Is Franklin considered a decent brand? I remember the name growing up (for tennis equipment?), and I think I remember it being a reliable brand name.

This is the worst pickleball equipment you can buy.

The Franklin x40 pickleballs are good, though

For the love of God please stop posting these wood paddle deals. They have been obsolete for many years.

There have been deals for 2x carbon or fiberglass paddles for around the same price on and off.

Here is a set of two honeycomb core carbon fiber paddles for $20 shipped that I found in two min - https://a.co/d/0goTsFIb

Needed extra paddles for a bday party, and was able to find 2 Reebok honeycomb core fiberglass paddles for for $10.

Probably worthwhile to spend slightly more for the carbon fiber surface paddles though. Likely won't make much of a difference though vs fiberglass for beginners.
