They're doing something screwy with pricing on this guitar. Heritage doesn't sell a custom core H-150 that costs $5k from what I see.

Be careful with demo gear from Musician's Friend. It can be "demo gear" that has been sitting in a guitar center being abused by random people.
I'm not saying this one is, but a different demo gear guitar I bought definitely was. It wasn't just 'minor cosmetic wear'. But the return was really easy, so you might get a great deal, might not.

Who cares, their return policy is strong. If this is the kind of guitar that you want, it worth to take a risk to get a discount

I pondered on this one and called to ask a bit about its demo status. I was told it was marked Demo because it was a floor model in GC.

that finish is the standout from Heritage... I have a CC H-150 in Tobacco Burst and they're great guitars, at that price it's a no-brainer bw it and a Standard II, but at MSRP, now that the new Standard's are out, the CC's are priced rather high.
I prefer the CC to the Std II, bc I don't like coil splitting, or weight relief... but other than that I don't see the value proposition in $4k CC's any longer... they don't hold value... I got mine similarly discounted (tho it's a plain top) for $2800 and it wouldn't fetch more than $22-2300 or so now, i don't think..
