Might as well have one of these since OT seems more interesting than the usual bickering over live vs. psn.

Now, who wants to talk about how LEET they are? -_-V

thumbing up my thread because I can.

It wouldn't be easy, but I've had to do it before and survived. I do like her a whole lot, but if she goes then so be it. I really try to fight the assumption that she is trying to get with other guys. After all, like I said, she does come home with me every night and basically never leaves my side. So.... do I get all jealous over something that may not even exist and make a fool of myself, or just watch and see what happens? I'm very observant and, lately, I'm also very confrontational. If I see anything I really don't like, I'll definitely say something about it, but right now, it seems like a lot of vague actions that could be misinterpreted. I used to get jealous easily with my ex-wife, and I'm not convinced that it helped the relationship at all.
Heh... that sounds more like me. I'm usually not that jealous... but there were a couple of decent sized issues that went down. IMO, there's a line crossed when numbers are exchanged. I've had that happen multiple times before, actually. Nothing feels better than sitting next to your girl while she's texting some guy she just met.

"PC Gaming is dead"

2009 - pc.ign.com/articles/106/1065101p1.html
"... unit sales of games sold on Steam went up 205 percent... 25 million active user accounts in 2009 ... Steam now has over 1,000 games to download from over 100 developers and publishers."

2008 - http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/...tory=22378
"Steam currently boasts 20 million users and 350 games, and the service is seeing consistent year-on-year growth of 100 percent."

Sounds about right...

I'd say if she wants to spend the majority of her free time with you at your place hanging and comes back with you every night then she wants to be with you...and just enjoys the night life. Like that song "Save the last dance for me."

BS! But like I said...different people...hard to find a common ground where one person doesn't feel walked all over and ignored and the other doesn't feel like they're in a high security prison.

See... people use that line all the time, and I find it very disingenuous. Yeah, we all understand that to mean that they have fun but really want you... but it leaves the situation open WAAAY too broadly IMO.

I mean, both of these situations fall under that same exact phrase:

Chick #1: Is a Dane Cook girl:
Quote :
Girls go to DANCE. You get ready with your friends. "This time let's just go DANCE tonight! Let's just... fark guys tonight. Let's just stand in a circle around our shoes and our pocketbooks... And let's just dance. And if guys come near us we'll taser them. Zzzt. No guys."
Chick #2: Is a stripper. Spends all night showing her tits to other guys, grinding on their nether regions, and getting grabbed everywhere.. but hey.. she has a boyfriend and comes home to him every night (smelling like the sweat of hundreds of creepy doods).

Both fit under the same statement, but there's an universe of difference in between.

EDIT: and also, the "save the last dance" thing kinda gets kicked out the window when you don't have enough energy for that last dance because you spent it on other guys Stick Out Tongue.

unfortunately, no one is a mind reader, so the old axiom that actions speak louder than words is what i'm sticking with. if she wants to be with me, she'll show it. if not, she'll show that too. shit'll get figured out. if you're screaming HERE FISHY FISHY FISHY while you're out on a lake fishing, chances are, you aren't going to catch any fish. if you observe silently, your chances of catching something is much higher. and then you can move on to something better. because it WILL be better.

I have a picture of one I ran across like that while mowing the lawn. It was pretty obstinate above moving so I could finish the lawn after I took the pic.

i used to tease my friends because they'd be broke and have no food, but they had dozens of rabbits running around outside near their place. i was like... guys... <points to rabbits> free food... what's the problem?

they were cute and all, but fark, if i didn't have any money and had no food, i'd certainly brush up on my skinning/gutting skills rather than eat catsup packets for a week.

The cheapest meat ever is sitting in the woods "looking cute". The only issue is you have to have all the "permits" and they can be expensive.
