Please see HT Coupon acceptance policies one again.

HT does not allow doubling/tripling IP coupons and only 20 coupons are allowed per day per customer/household with VIC card. They accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; they do not give cash back.

Please do not start discussion of invalid scenarios.

HT had sent notice to other sites in the past for invalid discussions and we don't want that to happen here.

Thanks everyone.

HT Coupon Acceptance Policy General

* We accept coupons that have not passed their expiration date for use; we can not accept any expired coupons.
* We accept only one manufacturer coupon per purchased item.
* We do not accept coupons on items not purchased.
* Coupons must be presented at time of purchase; we can not return money for coupons not used.
* Coupons presented and items purchased must match exactly; size, variety, flavor, etc.
* We uphold any purchase stipulations set forth by product manufacturer.
* We accept only one coupon for Buy One Get one Free items.
* We accept coupons for items only of equal or more value; we do not give cash back.
* Sales tax is paid by customer at full retail.

Doubling

* We accept 20 double coupons per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.
* We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.
* We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value.
* No internet coupons will be doubled or tripled. No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled.

Internet Coupons

* We gladly accept internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted.
* With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.
* We do not accept internet coupons that do not appear to be originals or that won’t scan.
* We gladly accept local competitors’ circular or direct-mail coupons; however we do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.

Rainchecks

* Rainchecks never expire and are accepted at any Harris Teeter store.
* We do not issue rainchecks for coupon items that may be out of stock or for “while supplies last” items.
* We reserve the right to limit raincheck quantities based on product availability and advertised limits.

Scan Guarantee

* Our scan guarantee states “If an item scans higher than the shelf tag or sign, you will receive one like item free, excluding alcohol and tobacco.

Harris Teeter reserves the right to limit quantities in coupon usage, as well as products and to amend our policies as we deem appropriate.

Mod Edit: The Wiki will again be post #2 for this thread due to the new format -- below is some information regarding Harris Teeter, thanks for ReatilHeretic for providing this info.

I have been an advocate of SlickDeals.net for a long time, but this is my first post.
If this is the wrong place to post this information, or if this is a re-post then I humbly apologize.

There are 24 Harris Teeters within a 12 mile radius of our home here in Charlotte, NC.

There are (24) Harris Teeter stores near the Charlotte, NC area:
http://www.harristeeter.com/other/store_locator/store_locator.aspx

price checks for your local Harris Teeter store can be done by visiting their Express Lane page:
http://www.harristeeter.com/shopping/express_lane/express_lane.aspx

I printed my copy of the $3.00 Planters coupon by visiting this page:
http://freebies4mom.blogspot.com/2008/07/another-3-planters-coupon.html

I hope this information helps some of the members of this forum. I know that Harris Teeter is more known in the Southeast than it is in other areas, but their coupon doubling / tripling policies are pretty amazing. I have lived in Nashville, TN and Charlotte, NC and I have shopped at Harris Teeter in both cities. Their customer service is incredible when it comes to coupon mistakes, or returns on incorrect products purchased. They will double any 20 coupons ( up to $0.99 ) per transaction and they can all be identical. Some of the stores have a limit to the number of printable coupons you can use per transaction, but only one of the 24 stores I visit has such a rule. During their quarterly Triple Coupon Weeks, you can rack up on anywhere from 20-30 random brand name items that range from 75%-99% off, just because the coupon related to the deal is being tripled as opposed to just being doubled. Black Friday is tame compared to the largest Harris Teeters in Charlotte during Triple Coupon Week.

On the subject of doubling coupons, there are a few coupon scenarios like this for this weeks Bi-Lo deals involving Rice Pudding snack cups (and a $0.75 coupon), Cool Whip in a can (and a $1.00 coupon that will not be doubled ), and the same Free Kraft singles coupon that is referenced above. If I can verify those today, I will try to update my post to reflect the exact pricing.

I wanted to thank the SlickDeals community for providing free access to so many deals, tips, and incredible discounts over the past several years. I cannot think of a single website that shares as much valuable information related to so many different kinds of deals, all of which are 100% legal and ethically sound to participate in. My friends and family members have saved a great deal of money by visiting this site and we will continue to speak highly of this site for as long as we are active consumers.

wave You have 8 ht cards?

No, but my son has one, a daughter has one, my mother has one, and my husband has one. I utilize family for one run each through each store, plus the Kroger stores. There were seven of them matching HT. I only made it to four each day. Not enough hours.OMG

I live about 1 1/2 hours away from the HT near Wake Forest Hospital in Winston-Salem. The only opportunity I ever have to shop at HT is when I happen to have a doctor appt. for my RA. Would someone please give me a heads up about how strict that store is for q's, etc? Should I expect everything to be gone since my appt. is not til Tuesday? Please feel free to just PM me so as not to tie up this thread. Thanks so much!

I'm jealous of y'all with nice stores.

Both of my HT enforce the 3 like coupon limit and the 1 coupon on a bogo sale rule. So it makes shopping there a big PITA since most good sales are bogo sales and my stores don't let you make different transactions to get around the bogo coupon rule.
Well sometimes the BOGO stuff is a great deal but the only one I can think of for this round is the syrup. And I only found ONE of those that was either left over, forgotten, or too far in the back to reach laugh out loud

Also, special thanks to whomever cleared out the barcroft plaza store of every single tony's pizza Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I enjoy sharing unnoticed deals so people can s&g Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Mad

My trip today:
3 crackerfuls
4 cheez nips
1 duke's squeezeable mayo $1.29
2 dan activ drinkable yogurt $2- $1= free
6 steamfresh rice (veggies were all gone!) = free
1 log cabin syrup
1 fig newtons... the new cracker-looking kind = $1.49
3 cracker barrel big slice cheese = $1.29 ea.
6 fuze = 11 c ea

was denied use of the bloom 10/40 before qs, which i kind of expected at this store. oh well.

New to shopping at HT.. I read the WIKI. And I noted that some say after $1 coupon (doubled) their 2.00 item is free.
The WIKI said double up to .99 coupon. Which is it? Or does it depend on your store ?
Thanks for any info.

On a regular week HT doubles all coupons with a face value up to $.99
This week (Yesterday through Tuesday) is SUPER DOUBLES, which means they double all coupons with a face value of $1.99 ($1.98? I can never remember) and under.
So this week your $1 will become $2 (or double up to the price of the item), but on a regular week it would just be $1. Smilie

A few good deals:

Lightlife veggie "meats," located in the produce dept near the tofu. Veggie "hot dogs" and "deli slices" are $2.99 a pack. Fake bacon and ground "beef" are $3.49. There's $1/1 IPs on smartsource.com. (I was able to print 10 per computer. Pray that they will reset May 1st.) Makes it $0.99 or $1.49, depending on which ones you get. (These freeze well too.)
I was so hoping these would be on sale 2/$4 again this time! Two SD's ago, they were... free! with q, but I only had a few q's. Now I have loads of q's, but no sale. Isn't that how it always works??

Yeah, I know. It just kills me because the items ring up half price, not full price and then free. So based on that, the policy just doesn't make sense.
Up until the last SD the items rang up half price, but I noticed last time that this was not the case. The bogos rang up full price, then when the total was pressed, the register then took off the appropriate amount for the bogo deal. If you bought one, it subtracted half, if you bought two, it subtracted full value of one, etc.

So I guess now they Can say it rings up that way.

hmph.
