Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

It kinda looked like someone threw another smoke grenade when they 'escaped', so who did that? Guess that is a pretty good possibility, though I can't wait to see how dark the governor gets.

Thoughts based on what was presented: YES, very feasible idea and I still hold tight to the Daryl vs Merle showdown at the season finale or right before. Brother vs Brother, two men enter, one man leave.

So we got introduced to who i absolutely though the producers were replacing with T-Dog, we got to see the backside of the prison, the E-block, and we got to see guns, violence, zombies, and all if it leading into one helluva second half of the season. Awesome episode, can't wait for more! Bounce

Speaking of the back of the prison, my first thought was wtf caused that big of a hole in the wall? Second thought, they couldn't make a run to Home Depot and get supplies to try to secure the prison walls?

Very good point. Great looking scene, great set up, but looks like an earthquake or an arm of C4 was used during the production of the show.

Home Depot's HQ is in Atlanta, not sure where stores are in relation to where the prison's supposed to be, just saying.

There are a couple of scenes on there of where "Daryl was searching for Sophie" and they are MILES apart...and yet the Farm House/Prison/Woodburry are all just a stones throw from each other...haha. That is neat though, but that is my main complaint with it.

They are farther north from what I can tell, out in the county and country area of Georgia. My distinct impression is that the nearest Home Depot, Lowes, etc. is back where they came from in the ATL. Now that's not to say there isn't a local lumber shop that couldn't be scavenged. But considering they were surrounded by zombie hoards on all sides for miles in almost all directions (as stated in episode 1 this season) then I suspect doing a lot of scavenger hunts is probably not going to happen.
