Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

I did it as a spoiler to make yourself 'think' about it before you read the trivia answer. As soon as you mentioned 'a car' it all came back to me! haha

We want to know things like, do these people bathe? Do they eat? They never show anyone cooking/preparing food. You never see night scenes in the prison. Do they sleep? Are there candles? Why wouldn't there be electricity in the zombie apocalypse? How come that baby never cries? What are Glenn and Maggie doing for birth control? Do they know what day/month/year it is? Why do they all dress like sh*t? There are brand new clothes in most of the stores.

Inquiring minds want to know. laugh out loud

Called my sister over lunch to talk TWD and she brought that up. She thinks Maggie is going to be preggo soon. She also pointed out how much work they went through (and almost died) for the condoms at that one general store and now they are all just "Hey, here is a dark corner, lets do it...I've got a big black protection I call my glock"

The only meal I can remember is when Andrea and Michone were heating up beans. They used to show dinner at the farm house all the time, IIRC.

They don't shower because Shane used up all the hot water in the world to cut his hair.

Wow...you are inquisitive.
  • Rarely bathe (there is running water but no time to sit still to take a shower or bath)
  • Food is mostly in cans and raw unless they kill something like rabbit how Daryl did in Season 1.
  • Yes they sleep but not well.
  • Sucks about the night scenes, they should
  • With the number of accidents, chewed cords, power surges, and no one to implement or maintain a power grid, it's not shocking there is no power throughout. Who knows how many power transformers and relays have blown since D-Day.
  • Birth control? laugh out loud Timing out her cycle very very carefully and crossing fingers? A better question is if they aren't washing off their nether regions, then would you really want to have any form of sex? EEK!
  • I don't think they do. Mostly they gauge things by season and just kind of take it from there. I don't think they know exactly what time/date is anymore and who knows what clock is accurate these days.
  • All the good clothes are surrounded by zombies in Atlanta.

The date thing was mentioned in the comics fairly early on, when someone figured it would be around Christmas, IIRC.

I'm waiting for the series. For me it's about the money. With season 1 being only 6 episodes & season 2 only 13, and season box sets cost the same as shows with 20 episodes. Most of the cost is in the packaging, so it should be cheaper for the entire series set.

I guess a crossbow looks cooler, but I still say a compound bow is more practical. Crossbows are a pain in the butt to load/re-load, at least mine is.

I had heard that he got a new crossbow for this season, and I had noticed the bolts had green fletching, but I wouldn't expect anyone to notice if they swapped in blue ones for a single scene...but that would be neat to do that to see if people catch it, haha.
