Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

Did they talk about this on Talking Dead?
Your statement goes against everything they have ever mentioned or done on The Walking Dead with regards to loud noises and walkers. In fact, last night, the two guys used loud music to lure the walkers back into the trailer to reset the trap.
I didn't actually watch this part of Talking Dead, but Lennie James was asked that question from the audience, about why Morgan honked the horn. He replied that Morgan does value life and wanted to attract any stray walkers so he could take them out, and let them wake up intact. No clue if that's how Lennie feels personally about the interaction or if that's how it was intended to be portrayed, though. Dontknow

I assumed honking the horn was to get walkers to eat the 2 guys.

I'm pretty sure he honked the horn to attract walkers. That would insure that the wolves didn't get out. (even though they did)
Exactly. Attract walkers, pin the wolves in the car so even if they do fight their way out of the car and survive, they won't be able to follow Morgan anymore, and if they die, it's because of the walkers, not because Morgan expressly took them out.

So you watch Talking Dead too? No way did I EVER think he was making an incredible amount of noise to make sure the zombies wouldn't come around...I mean...it completely contradicts the way everyone has acted for 5 years. Not saying that I "don't buy it" just saying that they should have made his thoughts way more obvious in the show.

But Morgan leaving those people alive also completely contradicts Rick's thoughts about letting people live. Rick said they couldn't just banish people because they would find them and attack them. So now Morgan has let two people live, they came about insider knowledge also, and now they are going to attack. Does Rick/Crew go on the offensive though next season?

I said to my wife, it says something about the Alexandria-ites when they will leave perfectly good food and let it (or MAKE IT) go to waste so easily. Image not having anything to eat for 3 days, and praising the Lord because you found a can of corn (or eating yourself sick on Pudding)...and these people are throwing multiple meals away.

Hmmm, I feel like I read that somewhere else.... laugh out loud

They were looking at pics of Rick, nothing at all would lead me to believe that Rick ran into the Wolves years ago and #1) he was the only one and #2) he didn't tell any one else about it.

Not sure why I am having trouble responding to your post Confused

I do watch the talking dead.i really thought Morgan wanted the zombies to come and get the wolves. My DH said he was honking to see if there were walkers around and locked them in the car to spare their lives. After watching TD, I thought I understood it was to save them since Morgan believes life is sacred.

I had to go back and read about the white shirts...repost LMAO

Here was my formula for really enjoying the last 4 episodes of TWD.

1.) Watch all episodes of The Americans until you're caught up.
2.) Watch all episodes of Black Sails until you're caught up.
3.) After such awesome, awesome television remember that there's a bunch of TWD that you missed.
4.) After such awesome, awesome television, set expectations very, very low.
5.) Watch all 4 episodes back to back and actually genuinely enjoy them.

Yea, I was right with you on that, I'd love to hear what triggered the thought in your husband...just because he took the time and energy to move them out of the woods? That's the only thing I can think off...everything else in the last 5 seasons would have said "Honk horn to kill people by walker"

That's another thing...what caused Morgan to crash into that tree and how do you jack a car up THAT MUCH, black out, and just wake up and walk it off, haha. [Wasn't that how the episode started? Him coming to in the car? Now I am second guessing laugh out loud ]

And I have no idea WHY, but I am in the camp of "I like Morgan"

The episode did indeed start with Morgan waking up in the car and looking at the Rabbits foot, before he went all Donatello on thoe guys. However, I see to remember him laying down and not sitting upright in the seat. I assumed he had come upon the car and used it to camp, rather than he was driving and crashed. Every time we see Morgan, he is on foot.
I too like the Morgan character. Partyl because I think Lennie James is an awesome actor, and partly because Morgan is a real badass. Wasn't he batshit crazy the last time Rick saw him?

OK, I remember the rabbit foot thing too, and thinking they were trying to show he was happy the foot kept him safe through the crash...not just through the night of sleeping in a car someone probably died in.

Oh yea, he was totes cray cray...but his setup he had created was just incredible, with all the traps. I do think a lot of it has to do with that he is a good actor also. There are a lot of times when I don't like Maggie and I think it is just because of the actress and not because of what her character is doing. And I know I didn't like Beth solely for that reason.

"He sets the cross upright, and then lays out three items. A Goo Goo Cluster, a bullet, and a rabbit's foot.

There are all kinds of theories out there to explain why he placed those particular items on the altar, and what they represent. Perhaps it is the three things Morgan thinks you need to survive in this world now, food, protection, and luck.
"

Season 5 midseason finale.

Here's a link talking about everything Morgan was up to in the first half of S5 - http://nerdbastards.com/2014/12/0...gan-up-to/

That wasn't Morgans car. I didn't go back and review old episodes or anything but I am about 90% sure the car Morgan woke up in was the car that Rick was driving with Aaron in the back seat when they took the 'alternate route' to Alexandria and drove straight through a herd of zombies. Basically him waking up in that car was the writers way of indicating to us that Morgan was getting close to Alexandria.

I immediately assumed Morgan wanted to kill the wolves by honking to attract zombies. My husband thinks logically and interpreted Morgan's actions to be good. He said right away that Morgan carried them to the car, closed the doors. I guess I put my own interpretation or spin on what I am watching.
