Car alarm remote starter help

895 114 November 24, 2010 at 01:18 PM
After replacing battery in my car, the alarm failed to function. The lock, unlock function doesn't work. If I press the unlock button on the remote startup, I hear the clicking sound near the steering wheel, but nothing happens. However the remote startup function still works.

The remote has other keys too, like F and option, but I dont' know the function of these keys.

On the remote starter, following information is mentioned.

800-225-6074
FCC ID : ELVNTRCA
Part No : 5BCR03B

thanks

Well, that is a 800 phone number at the top for the Audiovox installation line. You could call it, and ask them for help.

Here's the manual, perhaps it might help you: http://auto.manualsonline.com/man...bcr03.html

bulb save money by checking your insurance every 2 years (and not every 20) Thanks Liberty Mutual for reminding me to shop. The $842 increase this year sums it up. Across the board increase for Ohio....whatever

There is a car thread stickied to the top of the Tech Support forum where BayArea is really good at answering questions like these. I would try him, unless he sees this thread first.
