Neuragen free coupon
Quote from technotart View Post :
i just called for the code. it was very easy. the only info they asked for is location. the coupon is for $5 & expires 7/31/2011.
^^Not sure if the above coupon is valid for the size that's on sale. I have not done called for the code, and customer service will not be open till Monday.

The Neuragen listed in the SCR preview here on the lower right hand side of the page is for Neuragen Gel. The description is:

Purchase One (1)
Gel, 0.28 oz.

Limit 1 rebate
Up to $19.99

The SS (smartsource) $5/1 ip coupon is on Neuragen PN Homeopathic 0.17 fl. oz.- SO DO NOT USE THIS COUPON ON THE FREE AFTER REBATE KIND!
Quote from marz73 View Post :
Also wanted to say, the Heart Healthy Reward (HH) is $10 +UP wyb $30 then another $10 +UP when you get to $50 so it IS tracking and will probably give (2) $10's (as opposed to one $20) even if you buy the whole $50 in one transaction.

Not sure if it was posted, but the neurogen is located with the blood glucose meters and such and my stores only have two in stock.
Quote from petergabrielfan View Post :
That's where Neuragen is in my store as well. However, my stores locally also have an endcap near the pharmacy with diabetic-related items like Mentos gum, Colgate Total toothpaste and some other things. There were a few Neuragen there too. Might want to check there if your store has a similar endcap and there are none with the regular diabetic products.

Pls be careful when disposing of meds.
Even if no one gets them they can still leach into water
FDA excerpt: []
If no instructions are given, throw the drugs in the household trash, but first:

* Take them out of their original containers and mix them with an undesirable substance, such as used coffee grounds or kitty litter. The medication will be less appealing to children and pets, and unrecognizable to people who may intentionally go through your trash.

* Put them in a sealable bag, empty can, or other container to prevent the medication from leaking or breaking out of a garbage bag.

or see if you can drop them at the places that take old prescription meds
& never never never flush them

Afrin- Not in SoCal, but the ad says 15mL. Looks like they're all 15mL, so they should all count.

Also, some are $6.99 (=$5.59 with 20%), some "No Drip" are $7.99 (=sale price of $5.99, if included). There's also the "33% more!" packaging. See pic.
Quote from dakewlone View Post :
Coricidin regular prices are also from $6.99 (=$5.59 with 20%) to $7.99 (=$5.99 sale price). See pic.

Sale info:
Coricidin 16-24ct or liquid 10oz- $5.99, get $4 +UP
-$2 Coricidin HBP product IPQ
-$2 Feb VV
Quote from petergabrielfan View Post :
In a nutshell:

01 = attaches to one item so you're free to use a $x coupon on the one you're paying for

14 = attaches to both items and it is not ok to use a $x coupon

In this case the $3.99 packs would both be free even without a $x coupon, so it's a moot point. However, as Concerned Shopper mentioned above if you buy the $6.99 packs you get the $6 max on the free coupon and then use the $1/1 Stayfree to get both larger packs free (adjusted to 99 cents of course).

Does that make any sense? I feel like it doesn't.

There's a 1.00 off 2 q at WAGS for the Colgate too in one of those cardboard displays. The q's are small slender heavyweight sheets found in the display. Wouldn't make it a MM for a quantity, but if you are a couple q's short and don't want to order they are great filler q's. : ) They expire on the 30th of Jan., but if you have the Afrin q's and are shopping the 1st day of the sale or are in CA they might be handy.
Quote from creidesca View Post :
At each of the store I've been to, they really had only like 1-2 bottles of the NM Fish Oil 150ct Odorless, and about the same or none at all of the lower ct Odorless.

edit: at least it's good to know that any size/variety of COQ10, Fish Oil counts for the HH.

For everyone looking for the Neuragen Gel:

I found the gel in a different section, not in the diabetic products. In one of my stores it was with the other topical pain relievers.(Bengay, Thermacare, Precise) It is a small blue box and you can easily miss it. Over by the diabetic products I found the spray and the big sizes.hth
Quote from Thriftymomof2 View Post :
Also wanted to mention for those that got the RC for the Tylenol Precise, this is a good week to use them. They are $4.99 with a $1UP.

With RC they would be $2.00 ($5.00-$3 UP) - $2 MQ (01/09/SS) = FREE plus get a $1UP : ) AND it is part of the Buy and Save promo : )

Also check endcaps for the Coricidin! I saw some on a couple endcaps near the pharmacy, which had vitamins and other similar products on them.

Keep in mind this HH deal is limit one per card. You shuold still get the Afrin +up, but won't get multiple of the HH +up. Of course, nothing is set in stone, but generally RA only limits the Free afters, the coke/pepsi deals and ocassionally P&G product deals.
Quote from shoppingw2ntow View Post :
FYI, I bought a Chex Mix today to test and see if the $1 Food Up would print and it did! Even a sweeter addition to the $5 wyb $15 : )
Quote from couponpapa View Post :
I just came back from RA and this is my report:

I bought 30 worth in Afrin (4) and Colgate (3). All Ups printed (4 $4, 3 $2, and 1 $10).
Afrin coupons are beepers. Cashier entered them manually.
Lays stax is a double dip! Yes you can only buy one and still get 1 $1up reward back.
Lays xtas counts toward the WR. Tripe dip!!!!
Quote from earthdeuxbella View Post :
No UPs printed because the deals do not start until JAN 30TH. Not in VA, not anywhere on the East Coast. The deals *only* get turned on early for Southern California residents; their weekly ads run Thurs-Wed instead of our (VA's) Sun-Sat. HTH.
Quote from enticing View Post :
I can also confirm the Lays Stax also as printing the $1 UP reward, counting towards Up your game, and counting towards WR. I also went to buy some stayfree and no problems there!
Quote from emilaybaybay View Post :
Just used 2 Afrin insert MQ, NO beeps.

Not that anyone needs more razors, but... I bought 2 Proglide Power Premium Shave Collections. the $5UP is limit ONE.
Also, the Game $5/$15 UP expires 2/19. Got the $1UP for Lay Stax exp 3/15, obviously Smilie
Bought 5 Afrin/Coricidin in 1 transaction, no limit yet. The first Afrin scanned prompted the cashier to enter a birthday, that's it.
And... the NY Bagel Chip free up to $3.99 Q's work like a charm. Beeps for price, threw my cashier off quite a bit : D

ATTN people that like to use UPs to pay for tax/get negative subtotals... Something's up with it. With 5 Afrin/Coricidin, I had at least a $7 discount. I got my subtotal to negative $1.09. I tried to use a $1UP and it said i needed 9cents more... :confused :omg : (

EDIT: Wanted to add... NY Bagel Chips are counting towards WR!!! Yoshiblade counts towards WR too! ($15.99 with gold, -2mQ-1vv)
Quote from MamaSarahP View Post :
I'm not an expert because only one store around me will let me get to a negative subtotal, but I think I heard people saying that once you cross into the negatives you can't scan any more.

So let's say your subtotal is .50 and you scan a $1 UP to make your subtotal -.50, you can't do any more. But if your subtotal is .50 and you scan a $5 UP, then your subtotal would be -4.50 (assuming your discount is enough to cover that) but you can't do any more. Make sense?
Quote from perrofino View Post :
Afrin NoDrip Sinus UPC 0 41100 01509 9 worked fine with insert MQ.
Quote from DaSaver View Post :
Afrin beeped on me too (used the insert MQ). I bought 5 different varieties, three of my coupons went through. I'll list the UPC's soon, but from my single transaction i won't be able to tell which beeped.

Coricidin has a limit like the Dayquil of how much you can legally buy in a transaction here in Cali, limit 3. Used 3 IP's and not one went through. Luckily this store is friendly with beeps and it clearly says all Coricidin, but I know some stores just use this as a reason to deny you.

Also bought Gillette razor, as usual the small gift pks in plastic case are included in both sale price of 9.99 and get +UP.
Quote from fauxpaus View Post :
There is a coupon in the Von's/Safeway booklet, but it's off a "Family pack" and even if it does go through, I don't think it's meant to be used with the plates at RA.
Quote from mrsfloyd View Post :
Yeah the ones that are actually 'Family Pack' have it written on them in plain sight. If you don't see it written on the package, it's probably not the right item for the coupon, and RA may not get reimbursed if they take a coupon for an item/size that they don't actually sell.
Quote from creidesca View Post :
I saw this on my +UP too, the expiration date of 1/29/2011! Have 4 of these. I wasn't planning on going out tomorrow so I used all 4 of them up in my next transaction buying mostly Lays Stax and Chex Mix, since these items give back $1+UP per item.

My insert $3 Afrin MQ did not beep, neither did the Coricidin IPs. I bought the Afrin No Drip Sinus (UPC 041100015099) and Severe Congestion (UPC 041100820334), Coricidin HBP Chest Congestion & Cough (UPC 041100807434) and Maximum Strength Flu (UPC 041100801401).

Also, for those who intend to do the Benefiber SCR. The Benefiber Kiwi Strawberry Stick Packs 16ct, reg priced at 7.49 was tagged at my store as qualifying for the $3SCR (limit 3). Much cheaper than getting the 10.99 item, since w/ the 10% or 20% discount on your card, you will either break even or very little out of pocket w/ SCR, VV and MQ. Have no idea whether these will count towards the HH, but for those of use who already got our HH and/or WR.
Quote from okdeal View Post :
Dixie IS counting towards the $15. (was part of my purchase). No fears there. The $5 Up/ wyb $15 has an expiration date of 2/15 and all the $1 Ups on the food items exp. 3/15. So that is nice : nod:

I've done 12 and got all Ups.

Afrin: severe congestion 3 0085-0474-05 2
bought 4 and all 4 Qs beeped - used one $3 insert Q, one $3 IP, and (2) $2 IP qs.

Ups for Afrin - expire 1/29 - called Customer service - they said they've been getting a ton of calls. Going to mail out replacements in a few weeks.

Ups per receipt - should have gotten 21 in one transaction (forgot I added extra Lays) - got 20 Ups and the 20th got partially cut off. So I recommend staying under 20 per transaction.
Quote from shoptoomuch View Post :
I was hoping to test out a possible double dip in so cal on the loreal millions of lashes today. It is $4.99 with a $3 scr wyb2 (unlimited). The ad clearly stated that it is excluded from the $5 up wyb $15. Although in the rest of the country that item is included in the up deal.

They are not coming up at the sale price of $4.99, they scan as $8.95 ( and it is the correct item). So, they price modified it to $4.99. The $5 up did NOT print even though I was over $15.

So is it true that an up won't print if the item is price modified? Maybe it isn't a double dip and really is excluded.

All of the Maybelline Eye Studio products, the ones in last month's Video Values (with the lady doing the girl's blue eyeshadow) were on clearance 50% off when I went to my store yesterday! These things are awesome, I wanted to try them but they were too expensive. Plus you can use the $3/2 coupon from the tearpad on the PDA display, and that makes them even cheaper! HTH!!! : p (HEADS UP: I did but $20 worth, and did not get back the $5 for purchasing $20 worth of Maybelline!) GRRRRR! : (

I get that there are a lot of newbies in this thread and that we all have to learn but people (who have been on SD for quite a while) are asking the SAME ?'s over and over and over--PLEASE USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!! If the post reaches 2000 posts it auto archives and then things get really messed up. It's only Monday and we are already past 1400 posts. People who are coming to get new info have a difficult time when reading the same questions that were already asked much earlier in the thread and then have to go through question after question that has already been answered. The search button really helps and can almost always give you the info you're looking for!

I have found that a number of the bags of Chex Mix have had $.50/2 peelies on them. Not the greatest coupon in the world but brings it down to $.25 a bag after UPs. Good enough for me to stock up.

The peelies are bright pink and on the front of the bags. I have seen them on both Original and Cheddar but none of the other flavors.

afrin is still producing UPs. i've had good luck with the afrin no drip extra moisturizing purple box. it doesn't beep with coupons and has the $2 MQ inside for boxes that expire on 5/12.
on another note, i was buying the bayer usb contour with the free MQ to get an early start on my wellness points and i noticed they had bayer breeze meters that were $15 with $5 UP that had a $40 MIR on the box. i didn't inspect it further since i was in a rush, but could potentially be a $5 MM or even $30 MM.

Afrin Coupons: Beepers Because of 2 different "Family Codes" -- Even though q says on ANY! -- If your store gives you a hard time make sure you Match the Family Code to the coding on the Q --- For More Information <VERY USEFUL INFORMATION> Please read this Thread!!! CouponBarcodeBasics

If you hold the top and bottom of the box (like you would hold an inhaler) that keeps the product from moving and when you shake it you can hear if there is a coupon inside. I only found coupons in the green boxes (severe congestion) with expiration dates of 5/12 & 6/12.

This week, it's the peelies on the Complete being expired.
Rite Aid WILL accept expired peelies!!!

If it's on the product, on their shelf, they will key it in.
All the RA's I've been to have honored them & over the years, I've read everyone having the same experience.
I did fine with the Complete this week, and I've always been able to get credited in the past.

Just be sure to leave the peelie ON the product OR, make sure it leaves some of the tape on the product. That way they know.
DO CHECK the expiration of the product tho!!! Embarrassment
Quote from Inscrootable View Post :
there are also expired peelies on Stayfree. I was removing them, saw they were expired and told cashier we couldn't use them. AM was there and said that if they were on the product they would accept them. I heart RA.

Once we hit 2,000 posts - then we have to automatically enforce a trolling warning to anybody who tells someone to search for the answer instead of answering the question as the "search this thread" function becomes useless (since the answer is no longer in the thread).

Also, this is because all of the useful information will be in another thread and all of the answers "lost" from people having to swtich back and forth between threads.

We do NOT expect users to be told to search, and then they can't find the answer because the "search this thread" function is broken.

The answer "go search in the other thread" is not appropriate and is not fair to those who do not understand why the threads got split.

This would mean asking users to know the advanced search functions of SD (which like with ANYTHING else, knowing the advanced functions of anything takes a while), and that is like asking someone to write up a technical statement in French who does not speak French and get the sentence structure correct and dialect correct.

There is a balance to all of this and if you go too far to the extreme (one way or the other) then that is when bad things happen.

Now if we hit 2,000 because of useful info (which includes confirmation of deals still working or potential problems) - then so be it - it means there is a lot good information and we are all better off. In this situtation nothing can be done and I'm sure we can all live with this for the a day or so.

If we hit 2,000 due to useless information (too much OT) then that is where the problem is.

The amount of OT allowed is dependent on how active a thread is in order to insure a thread doesn't go

People posting to say thanks or acknowleding they got the answer are always encouraged as sometimes you cannot rep anymore that day due to the rep limit. IMHO, those are not useless posts and and are usually not a problem except in rare cases like this one.

We can always go back later and remove those posts as a last resort to try to prevent the archive.

As the post count is getting too close to 2,000 - this will also have to be the first and final say in the matter.

Quote from mysticprincess View Post :
The store closest to me has these 75% off, but the other store a couple miles down the street has them 50% off. So just a heads up on that.

Special orders:

If there's something you need a large quantity of, talk to the store manager about placing a special order for you. A local manager put in an order for me yesterday, and its being sent special from the warehouse (6 hours away!) to the store so that I can get the sale price and use my Qs before they expire. (Before the sale, its over $700 worth of vitamins, so definitely a good profit for the store. Its something my FIL takes every day, so this is a huge savings for him.) Not to clog up the thread too much, if you have specific questions, feel free to PM me. If your store does something like this, make sure to call Corp and compliment them.

Even calling Corp to compliment your store employees on how nice and courteous they are goes a long way. The shift supervisor at my closest store was excited that she had gotten a compliment, and she also got an "excellent customer service" pin to put next to her nametag.
GREAT ADVICE.........a compliment goes a long way, so do those surveys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quote from jenni. View Post :
I agree on this. I wrote and complimented my whole store. They are all pretty awesome. The manager was thrilled. She said it meant a lot because usually the only time people contact corp. was to complain. And the bonus is now I have a really good rapport with her.
A new deal to grab!!!!!

Also the Voluminous Million Lashes mascara on sale for $4.99 works for the spend $15 get $5, I bought 4, used 4 $3 Q's and got back $5. There is a monthly rebate unlimited for these, $3/2. Nice way to turn up's into cash!

Same goes for the Double Extend Eye Illuminator mascara, not a MM but a nice buy:
10.99 one mascara
5.49 another mascara (they're BOGO 50%)
Total: $16.48
Used $5/2 L'Oreal Face Cosmetics
Paid $11.48, received $5 +Up and a $3 SCR (already cleared)

$3.48 for two nice mascaras is not bad when you're swimming in +Ups.

........would be 19.96 - $10 (2 * $5/2) - $5 Up - $6 SCR, still a $1 MM......Yippie!

PLEASE people there is no need to keep asking if an Up is still printing EVERY day........................if it stops working someone will post it, TRUST me, there will be 20+ posts a day saying it's not working..........................SO unless you read otherwise it IS still working. TIA
Quote from Cheapkate View Post :
The ad does say it excludes the Voluminous mascara, I had bucks to blow and figured even without the $5 loreal up it was worth spending $8 UP's to turn it into $6 scr. I figured I might as well try 4 mascaras to see if the up printed and it did! Now just to find out if it's limit 1.
Quote from HoratioHoney View Post :
I met one of my DMs this morning. Yes, met, in the store. In person. A few things we spoke about:

First off, they are still writing rainchecks with the +UPs deducted from the sale price. He looked quite confused and surprised when I told him that stores were telling us otherwise.

They are supposed to scan the coupons FIRST, then if they beep check that it's for the item you are using it for. If it is, then put it im manually. I know this has been spoken on before, but I wanted to reiterate this point since I just spoke to him about it today. Regardless of what they tell you, they are reimbursed for the coupons from the manufacturer. The manufacturer doesn't know how the coupon was entered into their system and doesn't care. He also said that you can use more than 1 of the same In-Ad coupon in a transaction (even though the coupon itself says 1 per customer.).

Also they encourage phone calls so they have a chance to fix whatever problem there is rather than lose your business. So please do contact your DM if there are issues like those above in your store, They can't fix something they don't know about. And believe me, if someone gives you crap about you having gone to them over something THEY did, they will catch hell about it.

I found a bunch of items on 75% off clearance, 1 of which is Clairol Natural Instincts. Use the $2 In-Ad Q. My regular price on those is $9.49, so they were $2.37. There was a $2 this past Sunday for them in the P&G as well (adjust them down, of course). There are also many Broadway Nails and "Pretty Nails" brand artificial nails on clearance (I will list them below) and you can use the $1 tearpad Qs from the in-store display for those AND they qualify for the Buy and Save promo. Not a lot, obviously but will help when you're close and don't need a lot to reach $100. Borghese has quite a few things on clearance as well (making them $2-$2.25), and there was a $1 tearpad for those out last year.

Broadway Nails UPCs/Style #s (there are more, these are what they had in stock when I was at that store):

* 7 31509 00553 0 / 00553
* 7 31509 00087 0 / 00087
* 7 31509 00451 9 / 00451

I saw the ad on the puter at Rite Aid, here are some highlights that I remember. Sorry, no scans or hard copies of the ad yet.

$5 +UP wyb $15 includes, but not limited to:
colgate total care $2.99, get $2 +UP
Dryers ice cream $2.99, get $2 +UP
Pepsi $7.99
Are these double dip?
if so 6 ice creams or tp for .94 w/o any coupons. EEK! seems too good to be true. Who needs $5/$25 anymore, these deals rock w/o them Coverlaugh

Eeek, you guys, I just talked to yvonne and she corrected me on a couple of mistakes...

The neuragen is a single check rebate, not an +UP. I'm so sorry. And the dryers ice cream is not included in the +UP grouping I put it in (although it is still 99c after UP) and that grouping should be $10 UP wyb $30 (not $5 UP wyb $15).

Frick, I really effed that up! Embarrassment I shall go edit now.

Stayfree is definitely still on though!

Does anyone know what "Colgate Total Care" is? Is it just Colgate Total toothpaste & any Colgate Total q should work?

Seems like the SS $5 IP doesn't match up with the Neuragen that's FAR. Now which insert did the $10 ones come in?

Yep, free after +UP and big mm after coupon! bounce

In the Original very FIRST post it says $20 with a $20 SCR
But then in the very next post it turns into $20 with $20 +UP
So I'm kinda confuzed.... I can FIND the $19.99 SCR in the RA Feb SCR thread scan....
Can anyone clear this one up?
