If you are applying to Masters or PhD Programs, memorizing vocab will be much less important in the new Verbal section and there will be a calculator to help you out for Quant. section.

this is awesome, i've been wanting to take this test but dont' know when or if i'll be going to grad school but for this price i can take it twice for the price of once!

I actually paid full price to be a guinea pig.
When I took it, there was an experimental Verbal section.

I remember doing a reading comprehension, and the question is "Which of the following statement is true about the passage?" and there were like 8 or 9 statements and you can check as many/few as you like as opposed to having 1 correct answer for each question.

Pretty sure it's advisable to take the GRE before this revision...at least then you can be better prepared from all the experience of past test takers. You don't want to be the guinea pig.

Does this necessarily mean that scoring in the verbal section is much more easier now?
