Thread Details

The PUBLIX thread is IMHO the best grocery store thread around heart
Here's a little chat area for us all to share info, recipes, rant's, raves and whatever else we want without clogging up the regular weekly deals thread for PUBLIX. If we want to share super deals we find in other stores or whatnot that's ok too heart

I think we all are such a great family that it's a good to have our own special place Grouphug

You can post basically anything you like in here but let's keep deals info in the actual PUBLIX thread. All are welcome and basically no major rules except be kind and courteous of other's and treat each other with respect. Other than that let's all have some fun! Also you don't have to shop at PUBLIX to share in the chat or whatnot... we like everyone.

How much room ya got in your freezer?? Wink
Still have room, which is why I asked. The $3/3 Heinz tearpad makes the Ore-Ida tempting about 75¢ each if I recall (but I do already have several bags of Alexia Fries/Onion Rings that I bought with the $2.50 Alexia Q).

What happened to discussion in this thread?

How many bags of frozen taters is too many for a single person? laugh out loud
That all depends on your freezer space to eating tater ratio. Teehee I'm buying 6 bags this week. That will last us a while since we eat them maybe once or twice a month on the weekend. But now that we went to Outback and DH ordered those damn aussie cheese fries with ranch dip it may be more often. DH and the girls have been asking for fries and me to figure out how to make the sauce. We are addicted to that sauce! Licklips

I was buying the Nuk stuff last week, looked at Playtex and promptly forgot the price Embarrassment
So what NUK stuff did you buy? Did you use those lottery BOGO/B2G1/$1 off coupons? There is also a $1/1 NUK q in the past Publix Baby flyer. Can you tell I need ideas on how to use these coupons. New babies in the family and I have (4) BOGO q's to use up. bounce

I had the $2/1 Nuk printables. Even though I have 6 computers in the house, I got sidetracked during printing. When I got back to printing, they were oop. I ended up with 6 prints.

I got Nuk Graduates Toss cups (cute lids, animal faces) $3.99, Nuk Kiddy Cutlery $4.19 (knife, fork, spoon), Nuk spoon/fork $3.99.

I'll have to check for the cups. Thank you for the price check. Wink

That's the issue. I might have potatoes for one maybe once a month, as I prefer the Alexia Onion Rings.

I think I won't be buying them (particularly when I relooked at my $3/3 Q and it's only for the Ore-Ida Grillers). I like the zesties instead.

I'm not a potato person, unless it's potato soup yummy I stock up on the frozen hashbrowns during winter because it's my favorite crock pot soup, but it's just getting too hot to even think about soup!

The way I see it
every life is a pile of good things and bad things.
The good things don't always soften the bad things
but vice versa
the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things
and make them unimportant

Not that I need them, but do the Artisan Tostitos ever go on sale at Publix? I've never seen them BOGO to my knowledge (this size has less weight then when the regular bags go BOGO).

Not that I've seen. They're included in the 2/$6 deals, but usually when Tostitos goes bogo it's for the giant Party Size $4.99 bags.

I could eat a freakin' bag of them without salsa - the ENTIRE bag! yummy

Doesn't help any that hubby won Tostitos chips & dip for a year. Each coupon is valid for 1 Tostitos and 1 Tostitos Dip. The pineapple-peach salsa is yummy

I like the Artisan Black Bean and Garlic (?) flavor...it's been over a year since I had some, so I think that's the flavor.
I think my family is having a giant party this coming weekend, celebrating two birthdays, one college graduation and one wedding. I was hoping to take some to the party, just so they all wouldn't be eaten by just me.

I honestly try and not buy any chips, because the cat doesn't like them Wink5

I think the chips I like are the Red Pepper ones. I don't have a cat and my kiddos don't like the Red Pepper ones, so it's just me and hubs. Well, mainly me. Big Grin

Guess Target is getting smarter. Doesn't change anything for Publix shoppers whose store only allows one per transaction.
