Thread Details

The PUBLIX thread is IMHO the best grocery store thread around heart
Here's a little chat area for us all to share info, recipes, rant's, raves and whatever else we want without clogging up the regular weekly deals thread for PUBLIX. If we want to share super deals we find in other stores or whatnot that's ok too heart

I think we all are such a great family that it's a good to have our own special place Grouphug

You can post basically anything you like in here but let's keep deals info in the actual PUBLIX thread. All are welcome and basically no major rules except be kind and courteous of other's and treat each other with respect. Other than that let's all have some fun! Also you don't have to shop at PUBLIX to share in the chat or whatnot... we like everyone.

$50 is tough this time. Meridianville only had three pkgs of the David's Jumbo Sunflower seeds and I use this as my filler to $50. I cut Caribou Qs and them left them at home Facepalm

I'm happy to see the Krusteaz Muffins in the ex-yellow flyer. The Orange Cranberry Muffins are quick in that you only have to add water to them (unlike the other flavors), but contains real cranberries.

Had a great trip today! Not as low as I like, but ended up being $52.xx with $50ish of groceries and the gas card. My dad has already eaten half a carton of the So Delicious, lol. I bought the last 2 pints available- the chocolate peanut butter is yummy

The way I see it
every life is a pile of good things and bad things.
The good things don’t always soften the bad things
but vice versa
the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things
and make them unimportant

Censored while I was out shopping (left hubs at home with 2 children, 1 of whom was napping), the napping child took a red crayon and drew swirls all over her sisters walls, mirror, dresser, bed.

Me: When did this happen
Hubs: I guess while she was napping
Me: What were you doing while she was napping
Hubs: Playing a video game with xxxx (our other daughter)
Me: and you didn't hear xxx door open or xxxx door shut
Hubs: uh-uh
Smack
Sounds like how my brother zones out when watching the kids! I swear, there could be a hurricane and he would be oblivious if he's playing a game.

No small packages of liners here either. Cheapest I could find was $4.79 as well. Don't do like I did and grab two packs of pads that were marked $3.49, but turned out to be in the wrong spot. $5.89 EEK!

All in all it went well though, aside from the Kotex boo-boo. Three transactions, spent roughly $160 (including tax), and have 3 gas cards. Not a single So Delicious in the store, and only one package of feta cheese left. Oh well, I'll try again for those 2 on Monday, since I forgot RC's Facepalm

Reps are back...for now. Stick Out Tongue I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.
Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too.

Was in my ad...$10 off the purchase of one $50 Gas Card with $50 or more Grocery Purchase, 3/8-10/10 Only NOTE: BP gas cards no longer available

Sorry to hear about your ring.

No Cesar Q here either. Recycle Bin dove for 3 hours today. I haven't had time to look and see what I picked up, but at least a shoebox full.

I only had the coupon with me and it didn't have that about BP on my coupon so I didn't know. It is in the ad part of the flyer.

I just keep a suitcase full of disguises, fake beards & moustaches in the trunk of my car, so I can go out to the car, and go right back in the store again.

Amen!

Coming from the person who personally stopped at customer service and asked the Asst Customer Service manager about CQ usage with the Gas Card Q before she shopped yesterday.

If I eat carbs, I try to eat them in the morning, so hopefully I'll use them up before I go to sleep tonight.

BTW, don't forget that this weekend is Spring Forward weekend, setting your clocks ahead by 1 hour.

Mmmm, bagels. The cream cheese was $2.49 here, so I skipped that. But the sesame bagels are sooo good!

The bagels came in onion, everything, sesame and plain. None of those sounded appealing to me. I passed (and bought some Thomas Cinnamon Raisin Swirl bagels instead).
