Question no OT - insoles for kids & sports?

DD (8 yo now) has been complaining one of her heels hurts while playing soccer. Originally we thought it was due to small cleats, so we got her new ones (which, BTW, cleats these days are practically cardboard.... the Nike ones we got here are very thin, but that's par). We had a similar issue a year ago, and after noticing the cleats were too small, getting a bigger pair resolved her foot pain issue
She's still complaining although a bit less - then I wondered if insoles for athletic footwear are sold - kind of like the Dr. Scholls machines you'd see in CVS. I see some insoles online but worry about buying a pair for *cleats*

Where the hell have you been Pig??
Assuming it is the shoes: I have an ultimate frisbee teammate who uses insoles for her boots/cleats and has since she was a child. So at least one person out there uses them. No idea where she gets them or what type they are, though.
As someone who put almost 600 miles on my last pair of boots before they finally ripped in a Spartan Super, I'll say the same thing here as when my teammates complain about their cleats: just like all other sportswear, not all are created equal. I only wear Adidas Copa Mundials for a variety of reasons, but mostly for comfort/durability. Granted, you'll pay more up front (and it obviously might not be worth it if she's going to grow out of them in a few months), but not all spikes have transitioned to paper-thin synthetic uppers. Just most.

Not kids cleats.... like $40ish. I see teen/adult cleats can be $hundreds, but in her age group they are essentially disposable.
