I never finished FMA: Brotherhood, as it wasn't as interesting a style to me as the original.
The first FMA was pretty entertaining but made less and less sense as it went along since the writers got ahead of the comic and so had to make up the rest. Brotherhood is basically the TV guys admitting they screwed up FMA enough to redo the entire thing and follow the actual story. I watched the first handful of episodes just to check it out, and at the end of every episode I was, "Dammit, now I have to watch the next episode to find out what happens." And then at the end it all came together and made sense. Excellent stuff, imo.

Not sure if I've seen Burn Notice mentioned anywhere.
I didn't expect The Defenders to be as entertaining as it is.
Tosh.0 funny stuff.
High Stakes Poker is interesting. Way better than the final tables of tournaments where it just turns into an all-in fest.

I watch Weeds too but its not nearly as funny as it used to be IMO. Now its just more messed up than anything.
Yeah I agree. I tend to watch a shows from season 1 straight through. Weeds has a nice premise, but now it's getting a bit too complicated imo. Watching shows from the beginning is always fun, depending on who you're doing it with. So far I've done it with Dexter, Weeds, Office, Big Bang Theory, 30 rock, Chuck, Lost, Prison Break, 24, Thinking about trying out Entourage or Curb your Enthisasm. Any of you guys have thoughts on those?

I've pretty much watched all the shows you mentioned except Chuck and I don't like 30 rock. I don't like Entourage at all.

I liked all but the last season or so of Entourage. Certainly not a must-see show to me either way, though. Curb Your Enthusiasm is a must-see show.

And then there's Deadliest Catch. Everything really fit together the later seasons. And of course this last season was a tear-jerker.

Why are there so many spam links in the "tags" section? Is it because a certain someone hotlinked?

Yeah, now it seems like mostly a soap opera.

Any of you guys watch Shameless? I DVR'ed it as it was airing and am finally going back through and watching it. It is excellent. William H Macy does a great job at playing a deadbeat. Wouldn't have expected it.

Is it that good? I watched the first few episodes of the first season and thought it was okay but not good enough for me to keep going.

I still hate Fringe. If you know anything about science at all, and you have problems in general with crappy implementations of suspension of belief you will hate it. I hate it more than I hate CSI.

Also the giant letters that leave shadows on the scenes, but that people can't see piss me off to no end. Also the acting and writing are terrible. They try to get a cow high, and it's supposed to be funny or something.

I don't watch it often because I don't think any of the main characters are half as endearing and other people seem to. I am not opposed to watching it when I have to, but I don't actively watch it as I simply don't find it interesting.

I couldn't really get into Entourage either.. it's not horrible or anything, but I just don't really have the same interest in getting into the whole story as I do w/other shows...

Onto a diff show... Lie to Me. I haven't seen a ton of eps, but I do like the premise, and I try to learn things from it from time to time... just because it's a similar idea as a lot of cop shows, but is presented differently enough to be interesting.

Only prob is, I just don't see the longevity of it... He's not a cop... he has absolutely no real credentials to CHANGE anything (law, politics, whatever).. so I don't see how they're going to have enough subject matter to keep going w/out overlapping and re-introducing the same scenarios time and time again.
