This is a good deal on a one-time admission, but keep in mind that some (all?) Sea Worlds have a "fun pass" that is the price of a regular admission and allows you access for the entire year - through December 31, 2011 - as many visits as you want.

For example, Sea World San Antonio's Fun Card [seaworld.com] is $59.99 adult, $49.99 child.

Sea World San Diego Fun Card [4adventure.com] is $69.99 adult, $61.99 child.

In the past, I've purchased a single adult season pass at a bit more money than the Fun Card so I can save on the (rip-off) parking fees, then Fun Cards for everyone else.

You know, I went to Sea World about every weekend when I was a kid. My favorite thing back then makes me sick and feel guilty about it now. I loved the dolphin pool as a kid. Looking back as an adult, it was animal cruelty pure and simple. They had dolphins stuck in what amounted to glorified kiddie pools so that people could fondle them. I'm ashamed at the child I was for liking it so much. I hope they no longer have those. I've swam with dolphins in the open ocean. Not those coastal netted in lock ups, but in the open ocean where they come if the they want and they don't if they don't. That should be the only way people should be allowed to interact with dolphins.

Might want to also include the other deals...for Busch Gardens and for Discovery Cove, also at great discounts. The Discovery Cove is tempting...always wanted to swim with dolphins!

My question is how many of these 'deals' will be available?

They (randomly) use fingerprint scanners, so you need to put your index finger on CL with the used funpass....
