Best buy has the dynex 40" LCD tv on sale this week for just $350, choose in store pickup to save on Shipping.

PS I bought a dynex 32" 720p back in 2008 for $450 and its still going strong after daily use, all day every day. Seems like a decent deal to me

Good deal! Is the LCD panel manufactured by LG?

DYNEX is good in my book, got a 26" back in 2007 for $750, then a 37" in 2009 for 750, both were very good with no problems. very good quality, didn't run hot, and worked flawlessly...

I upgraded, so I sold them, but I'd consider DYNEX to be up there with VIZIO

I would pay $350 to NOT to own a Dynex LCD TV.

PASS!

at this price range a 42" Plasma is a MUCH better TV.

unless you want to use it at a computer monitor.... then go for it!

I picked up an 40" a while back and it was an LG. Picture is great and works fine but it does dump a serious amount of heat into the room.

How are you helping? You're awfully angry at 5am! Those are broad statements - this is typically an LG panel and Dynex has been known for quality at a lower price since their 2008 disaster. No problem if you don't show love, but don't kill it for people who are looking for answers.
Good post, OP.

Okay. Give me your $350, and I'll come make sure that you don't have a Dynex TV.

Care to explain why this is so awful, Mr. Frowny Pants?

What is the standard warranty on this tv and would someone recommend if it would be beter to get extended warranty from bestbuy or buy one from sQaure trade?

TIA

It is awful since you give no reasoning to your argument. Maybe let people know your personal experience if you had one previously or you have some consumer reports information showing TV has a terrible reliability rating.

For 1080 this is about as cheap as you will get for 40 inch and above and some people either have budget issues or only plan using it in a secondary room so it seems like a good deal. People come to these boards to get useful information on deals and your post offers nothing more then a unsubstantiated rant.

FYI - I have no clue if this is a good TV so I am unbiased

wow, great price....but why is there only 1 review on bestbuy site?

......and yes, I'd probably get the squareT warranty (4 year warranty is $34.99 with THIRTY30 code...code will work only one time for you)

Can someone speak to the Dynex vs Insignia branding? Obviously, they're both Best Buy brands - Dynex seems to the lesser of the two, but I don't really know.

Do you purposely look for threads you can crap on you little dweeb, or do you think you actually brought something constructive to this discussion?

I picked up the 32" model about 1.5 years ago for $300 and I love it. Good picture quality and good price for any on a budget such as myself.
