I think this would be a great outlet to post our concerns, rants, etc.....on our WAGS experiences due to low stock, new ECers, & S&Gers.

For what it's worth I do believe that low stock is more of an issue than S&Gers, but they and new ECers are definitely playing a huge role in the issues that we are all encountering. Frown

Thanks for opinions on my WG drinking problem.lol I totally agree that if was a problem they had a right to say something. Had she treated me the way I treat them when they make a mistake I would have apologized and made sure I followed protocol strictly. Our WG 's in Arkansas has a big problem with prices ringing up wrong, RR not being given, ect. I have always been nice about any mistakes and felt they should do the same. Point it out and give me opportunity to correct it. I would never accuse them of deliberate fraud and theft for an over charge or failure to issue a RR and that is what I felt like she did. I certainly would not be stupid enough to make conversation with a manager while blatantly stealing. As for 2 minute checkouts would love to have that. One cashier, our stores are small but have lots of them. Thanks all

When I read your post about the managers words......does not sound like a person that will
last long with walgreens. If you were treated in that manner, than so are other customers.
She could have said, you must be thirsty...let me ring that up for you.
This person may have been yelled at by her boss and was taking it out on you. Or maybe
there was a lot of theft going on in the store.
Since this is a store where you have become friends, I would ask how things are going in a
casual manner.....maybe bring up the fact that you didn't mean to cause any trouble by
opening that bottle on your previous visit. It may open the conversation up to the real reason behind her actions.

I would guess they had a lot of theft. Still, I agree, they way they handled it was wrong.

I am not sure I would bring it up again. But if you have another experience where you think they are behaving wrong, then I might.

Good point -- we never know why people act the way they do. I recently had an issue w/ my coupons in a Target store here that had previously been very coupon friendly. The cashier yelled at me while I was walking up to the register about my coupons, called the manager over, they read/scrutinized every single one, refused a bunch, etc, generally made me feel like a jerk and a thief. But I tried to stay cool and calm and be understanding (which it sounds like you did even if it upset you) and the manager calmed down and explained to me that there had been a lot of coupon fraud in their store recently and they felt the best way to prevent it was to ring up coupons in a very specific way.

I couldn't argue w/ that and I felt better once I felt like it wasn't ME but rather a general issue she'd been dealing with (that probably was causing her a ton of stress).

Apologizing or mentioning that you didn't mean to cause trouble may open up a chance for her to explain why she reacted like she did, and will certainly help keep your relationship w/ the store goodSmilie

Do you know whether this was an AM, EXA or SM? If it happened over the weekend, it may have been an AM. If so, I would call the store today and ask for SM and tell them what happened. Assuming it was an AM, the SM should be aware of the poor customer skills.

Iagree

I lost track of how many times cashiers gave me back the RR's after they scan them, my reaction it's complety different that Shuriken's. I tell them "that's yours, you are gonna be short if you give the RR's back to the customers"
Same thing with those little walgreen pamphlets coupons. Sometimes they are ivcs but sometimes they are MQs. When I used them for the Contour diabetes meters, all the cashiers said "oh you don't need to tear them out" and I had to let them know that they were MQs. They were suprised.

I was really surprised how many (experienced) cashiers were going to throw those MQ out after scanning. Even after they actually look at them it is strange how hard it is for them to tell the difference between IVC and MQ. I make sure to keep a close eye on them now to make sure they don't get thrown away.

I'm not a high roller but love to read about your adventures Wink
lil question ... I've got 2*$10estrovenRR and 6*$1LiptonRR all exp 2/2. I've flipped a bunch of $10RR to Pur already. Although I've read through the threads w/ my sickly headache, I diddn't see anything exciting to wait for on Saturday but I'm wondering if anyone here thought otherwise.
I see pur is showing up in stock around me so I'd just do 1tranny alone+$2filler-2mq and one w/ 1pur+1DHEA+6pencils to use the 16RR remaining.
Y'all are just plain amazing worship. $80 to flip every week is a challenge for me but I'm crazy enough not go give up. Well at least until I get to the kids culturelle for my boys Wink and I'd def be sucked in if I saw kids brainstrong again since I this noob missed out last times laugh out loud

I am not near my store that will let me test transactions.
Anyone test that the kleenex reward is printing at wags.
Anyone test if it rolls?
(It's frustrating that these roll at grocers but not wags)

It did not roll for me. I wouldn't expect it to, but it would be nice.

Well, I thought I would be, too, but the $1/4 boxes coupon is practically the same as the $0.25/1, plus you will get more sheets of tissue for your $. So even having to buy 8 boxes at a time, I think it is at least as good of a deal (for me, anyhow).

I have $13.50 RR ($6, $6, $1.50) that I would like to use up tonight or in the next couple of days. Would like to turn them into points as I'm going to be away for a few weeks so wouldn't be able to use rewards.

Should have used them last Sat with the dd Colgate. But didn't ... I would appreciate any ideas.
